  1. And Baiba is indeed there, in the relay today, a grand total of 2 months and 1 day after her son was born
  2. Such a bag of mixed feelings there I'm super happy with 2nd for Preuss, after all the injury trouble and all kinds of other misery in the past years, from her friend Julia Pieper killing herself with a biathlon rifle (leading to the horror relay at the Olympics) to losing basically a whole season because of slipping on slippery stairs.....but I'd have preferred her to be 2nd with 5 seconds behind instead of this close, now it was both awesome and super frustrating
  3. Oh, and Calle Halfvarsson ended up with an 18th place and a frozen penis. So there's that. "I needed 10 minutes to warm it back up somewhat. Luckily my second child is on the way, because if I keep going like this* that might have become difficult" *this is the 2nd time already, apparently.
  4. Finally managed to watch today, cool races And amazing result for Diggins given she needed a spare pole when things were heating up and she was punched in the face with it by her coach. Cool to have not one, but two new and somewhat unexpected winners. Jenssen being more unexpected than Ilar of course, but still cool, and Novak in second...and Mika Vermeulen in 4th after the race of his life (and playing a big role in the entire race)
  5. What the hell Edit: oooooh, from that meet in the US. For a second there I read it as 'retires', you can understand the 'what the hell' reaction
  6. Interesting how the thought process goes of some people Fun thing, the example you mentioned has the ICF's website as literally the first hit on Google....including a contact email address and phone number
  7. Seriously, doesn't one have to be a bit...'off'....let's say, to think registering on what is very clearly a forum will register for an actual international sports event?
  8. Poland finished in 21st. https://leaderboardhq.com/xy9mabui Disclaimer: this is not official OlympicIRL and I did several checks during the Grand Final though, and every time our tables were exactly the same.
  9. Do you also talk to clients about life and everything, knowing they can only answer "hmhmmeuuhhmmmmmmhuuu", like my previous dentist used to do? (who I went to from basically my very first year in life to two years ago when he decided to stop his practice, sadly)
  10. Oh and obviously thank you @Olympian1010 for hosting the day: be proud of yourself for pulling through all the troubles of the past few weeks, it's been absolutely as much fun as always
  11. Right, here is my final leaderboard for those who want to double check stuff https://leaderboardhq.com/xy9mabui I'm off to bed for real now, it's been a hell of a lot of fun throughout the past....damn, 9 hours already Thanks everyone for the lovely TISC day as ever, and have a good day, night or whichever time period is coming up
  12. I'm happy I stayed up for TISC though, I made it useful by watching today's cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, Davis Cup highlights and biathlon Now tomorrow morning I only need to watch today's darts and then hopefully still the F2 feature race and maybe cross-country skiing before heading to the airport
  13. No idea about the number of 12 points, so not taking that into account: Italy needs 12 points, and needs GB not to score. GB scoring at least 2 points grants them the win.
  14. Sure, but I'll just give you the link I'm afraid, I basically have one hand on the off-button of the lights already Which is also the on-button since it's really just one button, but, you know.
  15. 11 or 12 for GBR and it's definitely, officially over No 11 or 12 and it's not over yet.
  16. Italy could then still get exactly tied with GB at best, but I have no idea about the number of 1st places So yeah, it might well be over then.
  17. Hungary and Sweden still with a theoretical chance
  18. Another round of eliminations, including Czechia and Brazil, and we now have only six potential candidates for the win left.
