  1. I like this song although the text is a little fucked up
  2. Belgium in 4th place in a biathlon relay in the highest level, didn't know I'd live to see that Ok I know it's only after one shooting and I know it's their by far best athlete who goes first, but still, they're 4th
  3. Fantastic women's relay yesterday A shame Laura didn't have the power in the end anymore, but the way Olsbu handled the pressure (in skiing terms) was superb. Also Kazakhstan showed once again that it's a really up and coming country in women's biathlon. Now on for the men, I'm secretly hoping for an Austrian medal. Absolutely possible, but Eberhard's shooting will be extremely important.
  4. Option 2 would result in France going to CAS and CAS judging that the European qualifier won't be repeated I suppose. It would be the same as running every race again every time an athlete gets caught and that never happens of course.
  5. But with a Russian DSQ Germany still would have to play the worldwide OQT for which they're not qualified now, right? I mean, it's not like Germany would get Russia's ticket..
  6. Nice thing about the Brazilian Paralympic cross-country skiers: http://www.paralympic.org/news/brazilian-cross-country-skiers-work-towards-paralympics (They don't mention it, but for example Bruna Moura was there to train a blind Chilean girl, which was pretty cool )
  7. She's called "the female Arjen Robben" for a reason other than her injuries apparently Reminder, Robben in the 2010 World Cup Final:
  8. Yeah I read that you said "it would mean 7 points for Norway", but that was my mistake And damn it Miedema, this was THE chance to get the Olympic ticket...
  9. One loss and two wins means 7 points in Danish mathematics?
  10. If Norway makes 2-1 and SWE-NED remains at 1-1, aren't Norway qualified?
  11. 20 minutes to go, Netherlands and Norway both 1 goal away from Rio virtually speaking...
  12. Well RUSADA apparently notified athletes as well...that didn't help much
  13. Not that shocking I think But still sad indeed...I hope he gets a great result in his farewell race.
  14. I still think Kulizhnikov is definitely not only good because of doping, he really does have a great technique. But yeah, clearly his technique isn't the only thing
  15. And he already has had jail sentence for cocaine smuggle
  16. The thing I miss about the old one was that you saw 30 threads with "latest replies", but it was extremely annoying that every day at some point some threads just disappeared from there and I'd still miss them (I still never understood the reason). That doesn't happen here, but something like you have on most forums ("My active threads/topic") would be useful, getting a list of the threads in which you posted. Also it's sometimes a little annoying that new posts are not marked as new posts, so when there are like 20-30 new posts in a thread, you don't know exactly where the first unread post is.
  17. Yep, like Mutko himself said: "There is massive use of this in Russia, we'll see more cases."
  18. If there is one thing I am absolutely sure of, it is that me and a million of Dutch (and probably international) speed skating fans have said Kulizhnikov is not to be trusted since the very beginning of his domination I think you remember it a little wrong. I definitely talked about him breaking 34 because it was a historic moment in speed skating and it was clear that the chance was very big he would do it. I don't know how I put it, but I could have said something about mixed feelings: 1. I wish Wotherspoon would still have the record but 2. seeing the 34s being broken live was a historic moment. But what I can absolutely guarantee is that I have had the same opinion as almost everyone about Kulizhnikov since his return and sudden domination: don't trust it. And yes, I am sure I have also said something about his technique, because doping or no doping, I still think he has a beautiful technique (calm, but incredibly strong).
  19. Definitely a tough call. It's a little annoying now to see Dutch former world champion Erben Wennemars act all surprised about Kulizhnikov...in the past 2 seasons he was always talking about "the past is the past and now he is just great because his technique is fantastic" Noone is doubting his fantastic technique, but come on, everyone who is following speed skating is already saying for 2 years they don't trust him (I've always said that and so has basically everyone else I discuss with online)
