  1. Except Chinese women and maybe Canadian men all of them were the ones who could have been easily predicted as the winners, while these two battles were expected (at least by me) to be very tight (and they both finished with shootout). I'd rather say it was a good choice of hosts to celebrate the quota at home.
  2. Totallympics might be the answer for the question 19 (forgot to take a screenshot).

  4. Normally federations try to close the qualification tournaments format as close to the Olympic one as possible (looking at the example of modern pentathlon). So this should be six finalists with all of them qualifying (with the NOC limits saved) and four best non-qualified to the final (or more if the NOC limit applies to any finalist).
  5. I am sure it will be orange. If it is so, I'll tell you why.
  6. @Sindo Do you have a stats about which thread/topic is the most followed? I wonder, how many users use that function, which is very helpful for me.
  7. You mean the Pringles-style London velodrome? I'm in. Or maybe something Hundertwasser-style.
  8. Qualification criteria - that's something for me too. I won't help much with graphics, but maybe something with the results...
  9. Hey, these games are much better than I thought they'd be after reading the qualification systems first time. Maybe excluding the Australia-Russia women's two-match.
  10. OK, now it starts - Spain-France 2nd leg. After yesterday I'd like to see the same emotions - I'm not saying I support France, but it would be a nice surprise to see them instead of European vice-champions.

  12. I remember more a less 8 years ago (February 2012) when I was starting my journalist career, in India we played with France in the Olympic qualifications. The game was quite tight. We met them a few times later on and with the passing of time the results were more and more positive for them. No surprise they are now fighting for the Olympics, leading with European vice-champions from just two months ago, while we are.. not.
  13. Except for Kapustik they all look (from the name) like southern Slovaks (I mean, with Hungarian roots, though quite far as these names are a little bit far from the Hungarian spelling we're used to nowadays). Exactly the same point for the "Romanian" Csaba Szabo - I'm sure he's Hungarian origin (as well as Eduard Torok, who changed national team to Hungary lately).
  14. Novara playing in one pool with ŁKS Łódź (quite close to my place). I'm praying for the game to be held in Łódź on Thursday, 6th of February.
  15. So it's all today and the most important thing is three athletes from finishing, right?
  16. Well, that's some kind of place for this continent, isn't it? :P Exactly the opposite way if Egypt wins the African Champs.
  17. Yes, Chile is the sure rival. The European one will be Norway or (if Norway wins or loses final to Denmark) France. Brazil will be there if the Europeans will be won by someone from Worlds TOP 7 (or such team loses to Denmark in the final) and Egypt wins Africans. If someone outside of Worlds TOP 7 wins the Europeans, this team will be Spain, while Egypt and Brazil take the places for their continents.
  18. No need to hurry - it's still about a month until the luge qualification racing starts.
  19. Good job @Olympian1010 If you're so much into such things, could you please do the list of nations/athletes who completed the 2018/2019 season's condition of being eligible to fight for it (C2. of this document)
  20. I've got Rifle/Pistol noted on 17-28 May - was there some change?
  21. Hajo Seppelt. I may write to Weinreich (haven't talked to him quite a long time, just noticed he follows me on Twitter).
