despite being her first tournament after the Olympic Gold, Alice Bellandi is still the machine we used to know she's easily through to the gold medal match vs Anna Monta Olek in the women's -78kg class in the men's -100kg, instead, the amazing Matvey Kanikovskiy will face Dota Arai for gold

imho, one between Lyles and Tebogo (if not both of them) will improve the 200m record by LA 2028 meanwhile I don't see any of the current stars going below 9.7/9.6 "high" in the 100m (unless they find a special place and special weather conditions) I think he should take a long break and decide if he still wants to be a pro athlete or no OK, he was injured a few weeks ago and probably he isn't in good shape yet, but this is clearly a mental blow more than something physical I fear it's time to go on to the next stage in his life
