  1. 2. well, it was true only for the first couple of minutes in the GS period, Bellandi was dead and gone and once or twice her Olympic Champion's status got her out of troubles, too if there's a match where we can't complain, that's the one
  3. go Kings, go!
  4. the Florida Panthers, for most people's displeasure, completed their back-to-back and are still the NHL Stanley Cup Champions technically, totally deserved win for them, 4 games to 2 is even too much recognition for the Edmonton Oilers the men from South-East were clearly on top of this year's final, Edmonton's partial wins were just a case, some kind of Florida's distraction rather than theiractual superiority on the ice once again, the 2025 finals showed how it's impossible to win the Cup with a team built on 2/3 superstars eating out almost all the salary cap and a bunch of cheap guys as the supporting cast (and especially, no very good goalies): Hockey is NOT basketball, the NHL isn't the NBA https://www.nhl.com/news/2025-stanley-cup-final-panthers-oilers-top-10-moments
  5. Day #6 women's -78kg Gold: Alice Bellandi Silver: Anna Monta Olek Bronze: Kurena Ikeda & Patricia Sampaio Draw https://www.ijf.org/competition/2877/draw?id_weight=13 men's -100kg Gold: Matvey Kanikovskiy Silver: Dota Arai Bronze: Arman Adamian & Zelym Kotsoiev Draw https://www.ijf.org/competition/2877/draw?id_weight=6
  6. and it's Gold!!! Alice Bellandi is the new judo legend in she's the first player (men included) to win at least an Olympic and a World title
  7. despite being her first tournament after the Olympic Gold, Alice Bellandi is still the machine we used to know she's easily through to the gold medal match vs Anna Monta Olek in the women's -78kg class in the men's -100kg, instead, the amazing Matvey Kanikovskiy will face Dota Arai for gold
  8. Day #5 women's -70kg Gold: Shiho Tanaka Silver: Lara Cvjetko Bronze: Sanne Van Dijke & Miriam Butkereit Draw https://www.ijf.org/competition/2877/draw?id_weight=12 men's -90kg Gold: Sanshiro Murao Silver: Goki Tajima Bronze: Luka Maisuradze & Eljan Hajiyev Draw https://www.ijf.org/competition/2877/draw?id_weight=5
  9. imho, one between Lyles and Tebogo (if not both of them) will improve the 200m record by LA 2028 meanwhile I don't see any of the current stars going below 9.7/9.6 "high" in the 100m (unless they find a special place and special weather conditions) I think he should take a long break and decide if he still wants to be a pro athlete or no OK, he was injured a few weeks ago and probably he isn't in good shape yet, but this is clearly a mental blow more than something physical I fear it's time to go on to the next stage in his life
  10. in both Today's Gold Medal matches women's Team Foil: vs for Gold (and vs for Bronze) men's Team Sabre: vs for Gold (and aka vs for Bronze)
  11. in the men's -90kg, youngster Kenny Komi Bedel just eliminated the double Olympic Champion Lasha Bekauri
  12. all prelims should be free for every Country on Judo.tv (only live action -but also with some rewind on the timeline)
  13. Day #4 women's -63kg Gold: Haruka Kaju Silver: Catherine Beauchemin-Pinard Bronze: Gankhaich Bold & Laura Fazliu Draw https://www.ijf.org/competition/2877/draw?id_weight=11 men's -81kg Gold: Timur Arbuzov Silver: Tato Grigalashvili Bronze: Lee Joon Hwan & Zelim Tckaev Draw https://www.ijf.org/competition/2877/draw?id_weight=4
  14. finally, the first gold medal for even if it came from the most unexpected guy and once again we experienced some disappointing outings despite the 4 medals won Today (in particular, Marini and Macchi threw their chances away with some poor performances, given their supposed status and standard)
  15. illusion and disillusion for the team, as usual in this class however, I'm not sure the current pairings are the most effective among the possible combinations
  16. Mixed 470 World Championships 2025 ( Gdynia) Gold: Jordi Xammar Hernandez & Marta Cardona Alcàntara Silver: Simon Diesch & Anna Markfort Bronze: Martin Wrigley & Bettine Harris Full Results & Rankings https://2025worlds.470.org/en/default/races/race-resultsall
  17. good luck to those who already gave away 500+ € for the games played by the Blue Team
  18. and finally...the bunch of goats of the team, which now obviously won't have any NHLer at the next Olympics
