The David O'Leary Leeds team form 17-19 years ago was one of the most fun and enjoyable teams i have ever watched. They had such heart and even after all those years i can probably name the starting team. Something i can't do for modern clubs, because the players now are so unlikable and bratty.. Viduka, Kewell, Bowyer, Mills, Bakke, Allan Smith, Harte, Ferdinand, Robbie Fowler...

I'm interested how some players will cope with the missing crowd. After all there is the longtime myth that players get rattled by the crowd and that is why they do poorly at the TV/Major events. The players had 5 straight floor events, so they should have some form going in. Not expecting many seeds to fall in the first round, but let's hope for some surprises!

Pretty much this. It's unfortunate that the 2022 edition is probably cancelled, but let's not kid ourselves of how significant this is. Everything was perfectly normal when there were no YOG at all. It's not the be all, end all for these kids. I don't think competing at the YOG will decide if these athletes will have a sporting career or not in the future. It's just a nice experience for them and something cool to say in school. It's a junior event after all. Now, if we were talking about Tokyo, then that would be magnitude 9 catastrophe.

You can see and hear everything from the persons mouth and make your own conclusion, instead of the structuring and cherry picking that many of the internet sites will publish. When he joined Ferrari they were no where near being the most dominating team. Williams and Mclaren were at the top for 15 years. He joined the underdog team and didn't waltz to the best like other people.. As time passes people tend to remember only the end, but his vision and dedication for the car turned the tides in F1.

Schumacher is infinitely more likeable and charismatic. He had a string of memorable rivalries for many years with just as exceptional and interesting drivers, which has been lacking in F1 in the last 7-8 years. He had the aura that made you believe he was the best. No one was talking about the car 15-20 years ago, like they do now. Everything about Hamilton's persona on and off the circuits is off-putting and the whole world, bar an island, is dreading the time when history will be disgraced..

If the last 5 years didn't happen, every other permutation that could have been leads to a better F1 than what we got. In every single way.
