Ah! I somewhere read that Israel was a representative of Africa. But if they played in the European qualification, it would really surprise me if Israel can play in the OQT for Africa. Thanks for this information!

Israel will represent Africa. They are by far the best team in Africa, so Israel will play with the top 5 of Europe for 1 Olympic spot.

Don't forget Israel. I think Israel will be the favourite for the European/African spot (men).

Netherlands and Hungary played twice this week. 18-19 and 22-23. That means that Hungary will win the Qualification-poule because of the away-scored goals in second match? Netherlands is in pot 3 for the European Championships and will definitely draw a tough poule.

I will go to Pyeongchang too! Quite easy to buy some tickets, because it seems no one else goes to Korea. A lot of speedskating, but also shorttrack, curling, figure skating, alpine skiing, snowboard and ... thank God ... BIATHLON!! Just bought two tickets for the 10KM sprint men.

I think the top 12 teams will be seeded by the serpentine system (with Japan #1), but I'm not sure of that.
