  1. Isabell Werth goes very high. Believe it or not, this might be the first individual gold for Germany since 2007 (at any Europeans/Worlds/Olympics).
  2. Anna Kasprzak & Donnperignon qualify for the freestyle once again. That's 6th championships in a row. 2012 Olympics 2013 Europeans 2014 Worlds 2015 Europeans 2016 Olympics 2017 Europeans And this is perhaps the last championship for Donnperignon.
  3. Swedes really on fire today though. All 4 of them scoring 2-4% higher than in the Grand Prix. Zibrandtsen scores 73%, 7 more to go.
  4. What a test for Nilshagen Remember these two for the future!
  5. In general judges started prioritizing harmony between horse and rider, and started deducting more points for any tension. And Dutch riders seem to struggle with that more often than the others. Gal's horse was already pretty tense in the first round, but today they also had quite a few mistakes. Patrick and Diederik didn't score too badly, for their standards. They are pretty much on-par with Agnete this year, however Agnete rectified her mistakes from the first day and scored really well.
  6. Kosterina is so close to qualifying for freestyle, just needs one more to finish behind. At least Weinbauer is safe, very cool and unexpected result.
  7. Pinto makes an error, 2% deduction. Sadly, he will not qualify for the freestyle because of that. He got 70.394% (72% would easily be enough)...
  8. Gal scores under 70% That is a shocker, but Dutch dressage seems to be rocketing downwards very rapidly.
  9. I don't know much, I was just checking the results from today.
  10. Marcela Krinke-Susmelj started performing walk 2 movements too early. She'll get 2% deduction for that. Aerne really nailed it today though, almost 3% higher score than in the first round.
  11. It's actually double program. Dressage Grand Prix Special starts at 11:45; Team Final in Jumping will start at 20:30, under floodlights.
  12. Commentators here were saying a couple of times that this is the biggest sporting event in Taipei history. And that made me think, I really cannot remember any remotely serious event that took place there (not even Olympic qualification tournament or even some Asian championships). And It's not like Taipei doesn't have resources, but I guess politics has A LOT to do with that fact.
  13. Bertram Allen will not start tomorrow. I guess that's sensible considering what happened in the last two days.
  14. Diamond League is now like the World championships for the few selected ones, duh!
  15. They should just hand 4-5 golds to Japanese before the start.
  16. So despite a fall and bad luck, Ireland is still in at least 3rd place overnight. Just goes to show how in fact they have the best team here...
  17. Diniz goes clear! Looks like the usual big time chokers are delivering today. Except Ireland of course.
  18. Unbelieveable clear for Fuchs. He used all of his lives there.
  19. Lynch with the last fence down, preventing a clear. I'm afraid Irish run of bad luck will never end.
  20. Wow, that's triple clear for the Belgians. Big time chokers finally deliver.
