    I suppose Germany should profit? Don't know how reallocations work, but they are the highest placed unqualified team in those rankings. Germany might decline such reallocation though, so maybe a good news for Czech Republic.

    That is correct. Thanks to Dutch domination in Sochi, which lead to subsequent reducing of max quotas and introduction of mass start, several big droughts are about to end. Denmark will have male speed skaters for the first time since 1964, Finland will have a female skater for the first time since 1980, Switzerland female 1980, Austria male 1998, Belarus male 2002.

    Sadly, it looks like Cepoi didn't appear in Calgary, even though he was on the Nations Cup start list. He was in a qualification position, but I guess now Moldova will fail to qualify in luge for the first time since 1998. However, it does look like will qualify this time, what is kind of cool.

    Italians touched their stone with a broom. Simple as that. Doesn't matter when they touched it, as long as it was after the first hog line. Camera shows it and Italians admitted it themselves. How is lucky not amazing? Though, that really was a perfect precision.
