Not after this loss. I wonder what's WCF's logic behind this. Losing a direct Olympic qualification game is not enjoyable, so 3rd teams are always in advantage over the 1st-2nd loser.

Well, too bad that they didn't sign the hosting contact for 2022 WEG. There weren't any other candidates so they only had to sign it...

Really, they are going to lose to Italy now? I hate how this works. Being the most dominant team they will lose now and that surely doesn't bode well for the second match. Also, Italy completely messed up with 2 (!) stones in the 10th end and they didn't pay for it at all...

Kočergina is surely safe. Also probably Rasimoviciute, as they really got it together at that mixed relay in Ostersund. I remember though that they had some ridiculous amount of misses in the individual events, but Paulauskaite would still finish behind despite having fewer misses... It's not like Paulauskaite or Lescinskaite are making a strong case for themselves.

Syed Human scored under 300 FIS points at 10km free in Finland. Hopefully, he still has enough time to qualify and become the first Pakistani to compete in XC skiing! -
So this means no Olympics for Dombrovski. I thought he and Kaukenas were a sure thing.

Zubčić back to his old eternal struggle. And on top of that Dadić had horrible run in today's sprint WC in Davos... It's almost certain that he won't be able to keep two quota places for us. Gotta love the winter sports.

I don't care what people say, but Karen Putzer was just an amazing skier. How many women have managed to win men's giant slalom in Val d'Isere?

Actually, if I'm not mistaken she has qualified. 23rd in the rankings right now... And only Park will overtake her. http://live.isuresults.eu/2017-2018/worldcup/wc2_20000.htm There are 24 quotas up for grabs (max 2 per nation).
