    My package has arrived. It's Wilberry Wonder Pony (charity mascot) signed by Laura Collett (winner of the Chatsworth stage), and another horse figure signed by all podium finishers from Chatsworth. It's not exactly what they advertised, but alright. Realistically, at least one of the podium finishers should be in Tokyo next year, so I guess I'll have an Olympian's autograph sooner or later.

    FEI finally realized something. They can't make rule changes every single year and then expect that officials, athletes, federations, stakeholders, media and general public will not be left all confused. From now on the rules can be revamped only once in 4 years. Finally.

    I feel like this was a test for their team. If they could beat Australia, then they get to go to Tokyo. It looks similar to what they did in synchronized swimming for Rio 2016. They only entered a team for the qualificaton event, and not a duet. It looked as though they wanted their team to "earn" a place.

    To be honest, they should just organize a play-off between NED and ITA. Maybe best of 5 series or something.

    Apparently Samoa has won its first ever swimming gold medals.

    Still better than Tokyo next year when at least a couple of nations will be forced to have only one athlete. Because, you know, that will save the Games budget.

    Cool. Yes, there will be three sessions of eventing dressage in Tokyo (2 morning + 1 evening). Enjoy. Eventing dressage tests have been revamped recently. Now they include the strech circle, which I immediately liked. EDIT: Looks like the (very) shortened Olympic test will not include the strech circle. Too bad, but the intensity remains high.

    Järvenpää (FIN) hosted the latest NC stage this weekend. Only three nations participated, but it was great to see Estonia making their first ever appearance in any team dressage competition. Results 399.905% 396.638% 374.260% With this win, Sweden secured their 4th straight season's title.
