  1. Meanwhile, Indonesia was Indonesia as always. I became a bit of a fan of their music, thanks to TISC, but this affair tends to be largely one-sided.
  2. Imagine if it only happened with a native language song. I'm talking nonsense, I know.
  3. Okay the ball started rolling here. Can't even remember the last time I scored from three straight juries (if ever). Thanks a bunch @Federer91
  4. Is Czech Republic going for the win?
  5. Thanks @konig@LDOG. Nice points. "Tango" not scoring from Argentina would be downright depressing.
  6. @Illya you are a lifesaver. Thanks for another 6 points! 6.00 PPJ would win most contests. Just putting it out there.
  7. Is there a computer bug awarding 1 pt to Germany if not otherwise represented?
  8. France and Czechia are scoring everywhere.
  9. France maybe overtook Sweden right now. I'm not sure. GER/CZE are up there too.
  10. And you, loverboy, owe @brunamoura an apology.
  11. Nice points from Colombia! Maybe there is hope... yet. Thanks @Damian
  12. Luckily it's not. Otherwise CZE would be leading the Czechoslovak Trophy 19:0...
  13. Will this be the first and last leader then? Probably everyone asked themselves this question right now.
  14. Still undecided I guess. We have 5 teams of 6 and 1 team of 7. Since I will not be able to follow scores closely, all I can propose is having best 5 scores count per team. Any tiebreak to be resolved using the middle 3 scores (discarding 1st and 5th). If you or anyone else wishes to run the Team Challenge and/or propose a different format, feel free to do it.
  15. Based on this... Is this schedule correct? Position Nation Voting time (GMT+2) Voting time (Jury time) 1 China 12:00 18:00 2 Slovenia 12:10 11:10 3 Colombia 12:20 05:20 4 Netherlands 12:30 11:30 5 Portugal 12:40 10:40 6 Great Britain 12:50 10:50 7 New Zealand 13:00 00:00 8 Ukraine 13:10 13:10 9 Argentina 13:20 08:20 10 Bulgaria 13:30 13:30 11 Indonesia 13:40 18:40 12 Israel 13:50 13:50 Break (14:00 - 15:00) 13 Croatia 15:00 14:00 14 France 15:10 14:10 15 Malta 15:20 14:20 16 Lithuania 15:30 15:30 17 Canada 15:40 08:40 18 Moldova 15:50 15:50 19 Greece 16:00 16:00 20 Poland 16:10 15:10 21 Vietnam 16:20 21:20 22 Hungary 16:30 15:30 23 Ireland 16:40 14:40 24 Italy 16:50 15:50 Break (17:00 - 18:00) 25 Serbia 18:00 17:00 26 India 18:10 21:40 27 Denmark 18:20 17:20 28 Germany 18:30 17:30 29 Czech Republic 18:40 17:40 30 Mexico 18:50 10:50 31 Brazil 19:00 14:00 32 Spain 19:10 18:10 33 Slovakia 19:20 18:20 34 United States 19:30 09:30/12:30 35 Kazakhstan 19:40 23:40 36 Sweden 19:50 18:50 37 Romania 20:00 20:00
  16. So far so good for Team Silić. Yesterday they got 6th in the 4-man. That opening DQ could prove expensive, but they should still have enough time to get a replacement result in Europe after the New Years
  17. I will be traveling during the first session, but will be tuning in over the phone. This means no statistics from me this time (at least early on), and also possibly the host will have to present my votes for me. Still, I would very much like to see an official voting schedule presented somewhere.
  18. And the worst Dutch result is still better than the worst Irish result. The only category where Ireland is not the best... But maybe it will change after the first ever Dutch language entry...
  19. Ah, yes, the NBC. Erin Jackson of course has to be dumped in the first black woman category and be defined by it. https://olympics.nbcsports.com/2021/11/12/erin-jackson-speed-skating-world-cup/
  20. The final Dutch pair of M 1500 totally botched the final lane change. Both slowed down. Nuis placed 6th, Krol 16th (!!). What a terrible season starter for the Oranje.
  21. Sadly, I didn't have enough time to prepare new statistics for this edition, but today I will share something old and reliable. As we await for the Grand Final (time TBD), here is a look at point scores needed for each nation to match its best ever (top of the line), worst ever (bottom of the line) and average performance (blue triangle). Vietnam has only one previous participation - they need 130 pts to match it. And here are the same point scores needed, but presented in a table format...
