Amit wins and goes into quarters but very unimpressive..... Seemed slow and not in the best physical form

The Syrian boxer was not hotstuff..........Naman is such a poor boxer in such a class squad.... ?..... I really do not understand it.... Happy to say as of right now.... India have all 13 still boxing....... I think we now are the only nation to be able to say that ..... Considering that Asia are a dominant force in boxing that is super cool ? ..... I feel at least till quarters we will have 12/13 .....

I saw this bout... It was close, I felt that Aus did win a close fight..... It was the first very close UZB bout I have seen in the last couple of years that UZB has lost ( Under UZB presdent ) ...... So definitely feel this non AIBA led qualifier had been far fairer than earlier AIBA led events ??

Can they do an Asian tournament before the world qualifier at the same time..... It might be brutal for the losers than to continue on to the world's...... But any other means seems stupid as the ranking in wrestling is very arbitrary

Has two bouts but is facing a relatively easy draw...should qualify fairly easily..... Sakshi 57 ....twice youth gold medallist 2017, 2018.....is young . Has won against the 4th seed THA... was not really fluid..... And possibly a bit lucky to win..... Faces Aeji of KOR.... Aeji was fairly fluid but I think Sakshi would win Simranjit 60 ....2018 world bronze... Faces second seed MGL .......can win I feel as I feel Namuun is not that great a boxer.... But may be close... Lovlina... 69 ...2018 ,.2019 world bronze, seeded second should win one bout as has an easy draw... Pooja....75 ...current Asian champ 2019 ...Seeded 4th ... Has just one bout against unknown THA should win.... Should have 4-5 qualifiers after that the real work would start I think

Very unknown.... Faces a relatively easy draw... SAM and than a comparatively weak KGZ seed ..... But no clue.... 7 Naman... 91 .... I think may beat SYR in rd of 16 ..... He is I think is not at all graceful boxer... Will probably lose to Nyika of NZL..... ( personally I think Sumit Sangwan is a better boxer in this weight) 8 .Satish... 91+ ....seeded 4 ....Should qualify has only one bout against MGL.... In fact looking at the draw barring gaurav solanki who faces mirzazbeg of uzb ( world Championship gold medallist ) in the round of 16 all can win and win and qualify..... My best estimate 4 women / 4-5 men

Sudden jump of 15 new cases in India.... From 6 .......Turns out all were one group of tourists from Italy ....Also turns out another tourist from Italy was corona virus positive.. They have been quarantined on arrival.......so out of 21 cases in India 16 are Italian tourists.... .Are all the italians who have corona virus being given tickets to India .... ?

Good to see no cases from Italy they seem to have done a good job of capping new infections...... And with new infections falling in China...... I think it is Iran and South Korea which really need to work on capping fresh infections on a tough basis ..... I believe if they can prevent or reduce the rate we will be able to bring down carona virus as a whole.....

Well did watch the bouts today..... I thought they were reasonably fair.... Having the round count after each round helps reduce the issues, maybe they should go back to counting hits which will reduce the ambiguity.further ..... Boxing is my opinion the most opaque sport still..... You can watch the match swear the red boxer won and see the blue boxer being judged winner, I think this does not happen in any other sport, to a large extent you know the trend of points

Last time we had just 3 so surely, I feel we will get more than 8 ( which was the highest we got at London 2012 ) .... If not at this qualifiers but surely by the end of the world qualifiers.... I feel only naman in 91 and gaurav in 56 are facing very strong rivals in Amman, all the rest can do it... So I feel 8/9 now and possibly 1-2 at the world's......
