This time we may end up with around 125 ...... 84 now +16 in atheletics +5 in badminton +2 in archery +4 in wrestling +3 in golf +1 in judo +2 in rowing +2 in swimming +4 in tennis +2 in weightlifting I think we lost out 2 more in boxing due to cancellation of qualifiers.... So we should have been around 127 I think we can do at least 150 by 2024 .... My best bets 4-5 plus in shooting in shotgun , 4-5 more in cycling , 5-10 in atheletics ..... Plus hopefully swimmers , badminton , judo, fencing may add couple more ..... Also mens table tennis is likely to qualify ... So 150 looks doable

I was looking at mens trap today.... Top 8 positions ESP , SVK - who have already got quotas ....... Left are 3 ITA and IND ....kynan ....... Let us say Kynan 3-5 and ITA gets a place in Europe which may be likely would he win a quota ......

I think after looking at the performances in shooting ...... Chinki yadav exchange does not look like a slam dunk ..... She is improving and shooting well ..... Manu maybe should focus on the 10 M ..... I think deepak kumars performance is very poor and the quota should be exchanged for either kynan or rapid fire vijayveer / anish ...... Aishwary us shooting better than deepak in 10M ... He actually shot a really good score in 10M rifle the highest but as an MQS player did not get a chance

I am looking at our olympics chances......as a warm up to olympics s 2021 ...... Medal hopes et al ...... atheletics - do we finally have chance in atheletics to get our first medal for more than a hundred years ... I am only looking at the atheletes already qualified ..... 1. Javelin ..... Our best chance of a medal by far ... Neeraj broke the NR with a throw of 88.07 recently .... This is a fantastic distance ... Comparing it with last olympics .... It would get him a bronze by a good margin and almost silver ( 88.24) ... He is in the top 5 javelin throwers today and has a decent chance 2.Long jump - sreeshanker .... He also broke the national record .....8.26 meters equivalent to the 5th place at the 2016 olympics .... Can he produce his best at the olympics ...... A very very long shot for a medal Steeplechase - avinash sable has been breaking the NR a few times ... But even with that is so far behind the african nations ....no chance but can come in the top ten 20 km race walk men - the only sport where we have qualified 3 atheletes ( max by a country ) ... Sandeep broke the NR recently 1 hr 20.16 ... A seventh place equivalent in 2016 ..... If any of the race walkers shows good improvement .....medalvery long shot for medal Race walking women - bhawna jat - did 1.29.54 recently to break the NR ... An equivalent to a 7th place in 2016 .... Again in my view no chance at the olympics 4*400 mixed relay .... India came 7th in the world champs 2019 ..... Without hima das ...... So in case she comes back and we do very very well ..... A very very long shot for a medal ..... Realistically yes we can medal but it all rests on the broad shoulders of young neeraj chopra ... . I will be watching the javelin final with bated breath ......also we may have a record number of events where we are in the top 10 ......the above as well 400 metres men and women relay .......

I agree 1) fairly self evident that research into biological weapons is happening , 2) This is a very recent science , last 10 years or so that genome sequencing , splicing etc is possibly to weaponise viruses by changing and mixing parts of them 3) accidents will happen ........ while obviously I cannot say with certainty that corona virus is a biologically designed weapon .... It is possible is all I will say .......

I shudder to think of the implications of this .... what if we ( humans !! ) in our hubris design a virus which is the perfect weapon ( very high morbidity and extremely high R0 ) ........... we could kill all humankind very easily ..................... The Number of people who have got the virus may be greater than what has been reported by a factor of 10 times the actual numbers tested positive ( since a large number of asymptomatic or mild cases may not have been testing ...... ....... Antibody testing is the only way that can be found out as even actual corona testing testing does not count people who have got it in the past and may have recovered ...... If the value is tested at 10 times the current numbers in a place like germany then the mortality rate as calculated by WHO is absolutely incorrect and corona virus may be much less dangerous then thought , I really feel this test is vital to take a more careful stance on corona " Kudos to Germany for being really scientific "
