There is no WADA approved laboratory in the whole of Africa. Samples have to be flown to Qatar to be tested -
I don't think the FIL will officially confirm the quotas until January 1

It looks like there will be a big argument about the British luge men, The luge association counts Nations Cup as part of the World Cup and so believes their results are good enough to meet the standards of the British Olympic Association. The BOA does not count the Nations Cup as part of the World Cup so will refuse to pick them for Korea, It will go to an independent appeal committee for a final decision

The GBR rules say you have that you have to be in the 67% in 2 world cup races so it looks like the quota will be declined.

If you look at the world rankings. Nearly a third of the top 20 in men and women is Egyptian. But it's also useful for Paris 2024 that France has a world class man and a world class woman

. He had 140.8 FIS points but the FIS allow skiers to round down the points to the nearest full number so he qualified on 140 points. But the SA Olympic committee did not read the rules carefully enough
