Yup, Holmenkollen is gone, but it seems that they'll try to look for a last second replacement for the world cup ending.
-
SERIOUSLY What is up with IBU story on Instagram saying that there won't be Holmenkollen this year??? Are we actually going to cancel the final stage of the World Cup for the second year in a row? Let's go end the season in Poland.
-
Jokes aside, that type of travel might actually affect the quality of athletes for the end of the season, when they're already tired. Sure, there will be some athletes that absolutely nope out of that, but there are some countries that won't have that choice since they need to keep up on their nation cup points.
-
But imagine... The biathlon season actually ending in America.
-
Yup, the amount of fans this season is absolutely overwhelming.
-
Do you want to explain why this man has the entire yearly budget of the Lithuanian biathlon team in his hands?
-
I was surprised that Nove Mesto became a cult classic after being gone from the calendar for so long. Even pushing out Ostersund in one year and Kontiolahti in the other.
-
We can go to Nemenčinė in Lithuania, there are a lot of people speaking Russian there, but we can't promise that we'll have 30 functional shooting lanes and snow.

I literally have 0 excuses to not start saving money for a trip to Otepaa in 2025

I might be blind, but I think I'm missing @heywoodu in the scorecard? -
I was really thinking of going for Austria, but got too scared and went with a safer choice for my prediction.

Thanks for the support fam The last 3-4 weeks were absolutely insane, I'm so overworked that I hope I find the energy and brain power to enter the Biathlon prediction contest At least I'll have an excuse for finishing last
-
thanks guys for the support

Okay, Natalija Kočergina is heading for her biggest career achievement today
-
Well, I've been saying to my friend that this is definitely the final year for Simon after his performance in the World Cup this year. I was honestly surprised that he held out for so long, it must've been difficult psychologically, because he was at the peak of his career and it all went downhill with illnesses and other problems.

It is absolutely nuts, I barely had any time to myself since the 20th. FB, Insta, Youtube, Spotify and Twitter blew up and everybody started contacting me, then there's still rehearsals and filming both Eurovision and its montages. With every year there's more and more Eurovision related blogs that want a piece and this year even Lithuania is interested. I have three interviews scheduled for tomorrow and people are already booking me on Sunday, Monday, because everyone just assumes that I'm in the final even though nothing is guaranteed at all. I'm missing nearly every single biathlon race and trying to jump around spoilers on Twitter and Instagram whilst I'm catching up on esports. I did not think this would happen before releasing the song.
-
Thanks for the support guys, it's absolutely nuts. Didn't really think I could land first place at all
-
I think this is his first time trying out Antholz
-
Maksim Fomin might actually grow into the next Lithuanian biathlon star with time. He handled his first ever and second ever relays magnificently. 14th place for Lithuania is really amazing
-
Tomas Kaukėnas ran an absolute masterclass today in the relay He might be competitive when we come into Pokljuka.
-
Skottheim's injury was just a lot more serious than it seemed. As for the rest of the Swedish girls, yeah, huge underperformances, Persson looks closest to her actual level right now.
-
This season is pretty weird and surprising to me. I've followed and supported Hauser for a while now. I saw her as a young and up and coming star that lead the Austrian women's team, yet Innerhofer somehow got her win, whilst Hauser couldn't get into top 5 for years. I always thought she could get on the podium, she was one of the best shots, but last year I've started wondering if top 10s are her peak and this year she is blowing away all of her critics and even managed her first win. Let's see if there will be more, there's too many one time winners in biathlon, having at least two is much more fun. Lukas Hofer, this is your season.
