    Different lucks for portuguese teams: Porto won with a lot of luck (penalty in last minute) against a really weak Club Brugge; Sporting lost, as expected, with Dortmund. The only team that may deserve to go to second phase is probably Benfica (I'm curious about tomorrow match in Kiev), the other two belong to the Europa League....

    So, Karate World Championships starts next week in Linz (Austria)! Does anybody know which events are going to take part in Tokyo 2020? I'm assuming one of them will be individual Kata, but for Kumite which weight classes are gonna be "olympic"?

    Great analysis! I agree with everything you say (except the "german head coach" one because I don't follow german cycling team ). Luckily I think next year's in Bergen will have a much interesting and challenging route And I also hope for a better result for my national team. I mean, I knew it would be tough because Rui Costa wasn't there, and I know they were just 3 of them, but not even a single one finished the race.... and Nelson Oliveira can do much better than 20º on Time Trial....

    I don't know if we have any Thailand users, but their King (Bhumibol Adulyadej) has died. He was the world's longest reigning monarch, in power since 1946 (even earlier than Queen Elizabeth II).

    That goal is still remembered here as one of the luckiest moment in Portugal sporting history!! Thanks to Iceland we avoided the "stronger" path and managed to get to the final without playing against Italy/Spain/Germany

    Well, I watched this World Championships to watch Climbing for the first time. I must say I was a bit sceptical for this sport but in the end, I found it really interesting!! (specially Bouldering) So interesting that made me go and look for Climbing walls here in Lisbon!

    PORTUGAL Ok so for the first time Portugal will send a non-Portuguese speaking song to a Totallympics Song Contest!! It's a risky move as well, this is very different from the traditional portuguese songs that I've shown you before, and I admit this is a music genre that is not that popular as others, but the truth is that this is a big and very famous band here in my country, so I want to show them to everyone here!!     Just heard this on the news, Portugal is in the semi-final!! Portugal is 7th in ranking so I would guess that achieving top-4 is already pretty awesome!
