  1. Hey! Maybe this has already been asked and answered in the past by I’ve been out for a while so I might have miss it, but isn’t the Irish song a cover from the Led Zeppelin song? And isn’t Led Zeppelin an English band? Or is the song actually a cover from an even older Irish song? Edit: nevermind!!! glad I was wrong
  2. Wow, putting your hopes in dutch trains? Good luck! (storing was the first Dutch word I learned ) The votes are in btw
  3. yeah that was a joke to Rotterdam who has no teams on Champions this year haha I actually dont have the above problems because i'm one of the (crazy?) riders And it's not that bad to be fair, maybe except on the most touristic areas because people (tourists) just don't think of bicycle lines as actually for bicycles and decide to just walk on it Everytime we have guests visiting Amsterdam for the first time i always give them the warning as soon as they land: "Bicycles here are like trains. Do trains stop for you to cross the road? No, right? Then bicycles here also don't. And just like the train, it will roll you over without mercy."
  4. At least in Amsterdam you can watch Champions League! (and probably die rolled out by a crazy bicycle rider who would also probably scream to you something like "Kut tourist! Rot op naar je eigen land!", those friendly amsterdam bicycle riders )
  5. Rotterdam? Blasphemy! i'm a proud amsterdammer! But unfortunately lately piled with work I'll send my votes today, if that's ok!
  6. oh damn i totally forgot :X can i still give my votes?
  7. Liked the way Portugal is behaving without Ronaldo, good victory yesterday! I don't think we have an excellent team and I'm pretty sure we're not suited to deal with big sharks (germany, spain, france) but at least we're playing better than i thought we would
  8. Woops, I had completely forgot about this! I had literally no time to select a song (sorry!) so i'm just gonna send a very portuguese typical music that I like quite a lot: PORTUGAL ENTRY
  9. "It's coming home, it's coming home, England's coming home"
  10. You all make fun of Neymar, but there is a real reason for him to fall and scream all the time... it’s the result of a trauma from the past.... He.... stepped on LEGOs....
  11. Btw here is the video I made of Japan tv when I was there, just after the match with Colombia:
  12. I was in Tokyo the night they beaten Colombia. The party in the streets were so great that it seamed as if they had just won the World Cup! so I’m pretty sure they are awake to see their team tonight haha
  13. For a small country like us, it is enough to be European Champions at least for more two years And at least Ronaldo can retire having won at least one major championship with his national team, which is nice
  14. Well, too bad for us.... but again, better to be eliminated now than against France haha
  15. Well I prefer portugal to win obviously, but if we’re gonna loose, better to do it now, I prefer to loose against Uruguay than against Argentina or France, they’re too strong for our current team exhibitions haha
  16. Sounds like the perfect strategy: he will never bite anyone again
  17. You guys were truly excited yesterday, many people really happy in bars for the Germany being eliminated. Finally some World Cup excitment in The Netherlands
  18. Wow too many harsh discussions here! lets try to fix all this World Cup stress with a bit of humor, by showing you guys how Portuguese team is training in this days for the match again Uruguay and Suarez!
  19. Maradona is a good guy after all!
  20. Queiroz trying to win at all costs....
  21. Fun fact: in Portugal is a bit the opposite, people dont like Queiroz, not for coaching other teams, but because he was kind of really bad while coaching our national team, and then he caused some problems when it was his time to go (our Euro qualification for 2012 was going horrible and he still would refuse to leave, luckily he was replaced by a guy who later took us to semi finals). Also because he was aaaaaaaaalwayyyys complaining about the referees with big conspiratorial theories. And don't get me wrong, Portuguese love to use the "referee excuses", but it was just too much
  22. Yeah I have some similar and some different opinions about some of those incidents, but i guess that’s normal in football But oh well, match is over, so now it’s Uruguay and pray to have the same luck we have been having until now haha
  23. Also, this is basically every Portuguese fan in every match Portugal plays (at least since the last 18 years haha)
  24. Not a good match from Portugal; but I think that’s basically all our matches, so it’s good that we got through to the next phase not sure about the last penalty that gave the draw to Iran, but oh well, now it’s Uruguay so doesn’t matter anymore haha,
