Good news for Austria and Europe!

Big day for Europe: important referendum in Italy and presidential elections in Austria where one of the candidates is from Far-Right ideology (if he wins - let's hope not - he will be the first Far-Right President of an European country since the end of 2nd World War).

Today one of our major teams, Sporting, whose equipment is also green, played (is still playing at this moment actually ) with the Chapecoense logo on their shirt: Portugal is also mourning for the loss of our brothers, "país irmão"

I thought that too. Although I think the winner will probably be Behringer due to the Olympic gold this year. I also hope for Pia Sundhage to win the coach award, after the medals and championships she won with USA, to be able to win a Silver medal with Sweden was just epic stuff! In the men's side I'm obviously cheering for my fellow countryman, but I think only Ronaldo can win the award, I would say Zidane should be favourite to win the men's coach award.

This "leaks" exists since the begginning of this year. I assume they were not international news before because most of the leaks are about our national teams, mainly Sporting (although I think they have some about Benfica and Porto too). At that time it was a big scandal here, with lots of tv shows spending hours talking about the leaks and trying to find the mistery person behind those leaks (since the majority of the news were about Sporting, who was chalenging Benfica at the top of the league to became national champion, people suspect about a Benfica fan, but that's just suspitions).

So you don't live in Portugal (I assume) so you don't get to see crazy things like this one...... This is a tv commercial for a portuguese tv/net provider, MEO, staring Cristiano Ronaldo in a very "what the f*** is this s***?!" role: (there are no subtitles but I don't think you need it, they are playing as in Home Alone movie, and the women on the video is actually his real mother)

Those are the only things Salazar did good during his rule:

One example of our great leader, Salazar: When everyone else released their colonies in India, our dictator refused to do so. And we only had 3 cities there, nothing else. We had only around 3000 soldiers. Those cities were completely surrounded by the Indian forces with - obviously - no chance of defending anything. Our commanded refused this order, to avoid a massacre, and he was punished by that. By this example I think you can imagine how great he (and his regime) was.... My parents still have bad memories from that time....

We can talk as much as you want, because Portugal colonial war was due to our own "Fidel Castro" He was not "communist", but he was also a dictator who called himself "a great leader". His name? Antonio de Oliveira Salazar, who ruled the country in an infamous dictatorship that brought war to the nation (he didn't want to release the colonies, unlike everyone else in Europe), later replaced by Marcelo Caetano, also "a great leader". And you can see the results of it in Angola.... They seem to be a rich country, Luanda have tons of great business there (lots of portuguese companies have projects there) but the rest of it is serious poverty....
