  1. wow!!! really didn't expect someone here to like the song that much! It's a very important and representative song of Portugal, and thats why I shared it here, so i'm really happy someone liked it that much
  2. I'll be "babysiting" parents visiting us here in amsterdam so will only be able to follow it on mobile from time to time....
  3. Actually, funny story, I'm actually gonna spend a weekend in copenhagen next month
  4. PORTUGAL Dulce Pontes - Canção do Mar As usual, I use the TISC to show the best of Portuguese music, doing it with different music genres. This time I bring you what is probably the song which more accurately represents Portugal and our people, a fado-like music, originally from our greatest fadist of all time (Amalia Rodrigues), which is about the sea and sadness and missing someone.
  5. Yes, but that is also because of many goans who ran away many years ago to portuguese colonies, and then to Portugal (after independence from colonies), I had a few friends with stories like that. still it’s interesting how the language resisted in India after so many years
  6. Amazing, never had heard of this variant of portuguese, it’s so similar
  7. https://www.uefa.com/insideuefa/news/newsid=2625412.html hopefully Germany will also end up in last place on the group, so that we can have more 4 teams in 2022/23
  8. It's really one thing I like here, football matches have always (or most of the time) plenty of goals! Saturday I went for first time to see Ajax and it was really cool :D
  9. yesterday silver, today gold, excellent vibes for the upcoming olympics!!
  10. Sad for the dutch girls for loosing, but against USA there was not much hope anyway. But until the penalty they did played quite good, and i think they should be proud, being able to beat everyone until the final, they definitely deserved to be the second best of the world this time
  11. It's official now. Atletico de Madrid payed 127 MILLIONS for 19 year old João Felix. https://www.marca.com/futbol/atletico/2019/07/03/5d078b40268e3e40628b45a7.html
  12. I live in Amsterdam, i'm here all days haha. Yesterday i was in zuid watching the girls playing football in a bar
  13. Portuguese media are saying that one of Benfica young players (Joao Félix) is about to be transferred by... 120 M.... Joao Félix 120 Millions
  14. Thanks, also I must say the singer (David Carreira) is quite a cheesy and not that nice one haha (but that music was quite ok ?). also, disappointing, this time the Portuguese singer didn’t act with what looked like Spoons attaches to his face ☹️

  18. yay, finally over 50 points haha, thanks Lithuania
  19. one of the worst tourist areas, too many people stepping away in the bicycle paths haha. also, i do agree with the hipster part of it. every single coffee place is as gezellig (cozy) as it can possible be. And when you think Amsterdam is the hipster capital of the world, you cross the river to the north and see the hiptser lever go over 9000 (but, disclaimer, it results in really cool places to hang out )
