If they decline the hockey quota, then it will go to the 3rd team of Asia. will also have to choose between boys' hockey or rugby 7. I have no idea what would happen if both nations decline the hockey quota (maybe 4th and last place finisher in Oceania qualifiers would receive a quota?).

Today started the asian qualifiers of hockey 5s in Thailand. All matches are streamed on the Thailand hockey federation youtube channel. Apparently they are playing (for some reason) 30 minutes per match instead of the 20 that were in the american qualifiers, so we'll be seeing very inflated scores.

These games will be bad though, all the venues are either bad or unfinished + the altitude that will make things hard for many athletes. It's important to rotate countries, but if someone is just not capable of hosting there's no way around it.

And the ref.... my god, that was the worst I have seen in a time!, she easily gave like 10 throw ins to the wrong team and showed the red card to a WRONG PLAYER of Ecuador in a last (wo)man situation!!! how can you confuse a player in a one-on-one?? the worst thing is that she consulted with assistants and still showed the card to the wrong player. Things like this damage the credibility of women's football even more.
