  1. In that case, special thanks to @LDOG for his 12 points.
  2. First of all, another round of applause for @dezbee2008 who's running the final excellent. Thanks to @Damian, @Wanderer, @Enrique and either/both @konig and/or @LDOG for giving points to the Mexican song. I'm so dissapointed with this song's performance
  3. Great job with the opening ceremony @dezbee2008, you've done an impecable job so far as host. I trully enjoyed the ceremony, in particular the segment regarding USA's wonderful music heritage. I won't be able to post my votes tomorrow morning, but in advance I congratulate each user participating in the contest and wish all success in this edition.
  4. I remember a decade ago when I took the Warner Studios tour, the guide cracked a joke about the Warner Brothers (and Sister) being on the lose. It made me sad I was the only one laughing
  5. Medal for Mexico in women’s synchro after 5 teams fail to finish
  6. And today both, Mexico and Brazil qualified to synchro finals Good participation from Latin American countries in this edition.
  7. Dafne Navarro Loza managed to finish 7th in the qualification... that's Mexico's best result ever. I hope she does great at the semifinal, so she can better her resume.
  8. Article regarding new "multi-event team" competition (mixed of course). The last paragraph states this was a proposal from the gymnasts After a quick check of the entries, there's no need for qualification as only 5 countries entered competitors in every event: &
  9. First Olympic quota for Mexico Totally unexpected result, and among all events in this sport, one of the least in which to earn a place. Let's hope at least another quota is obtained during the week.
  10. And Guatemala qualifies its first athlete for Tokyo
  11. BTW, USA has new world record in women's team trap
  12. That's right.
  13. qualifies all 3 competitors to women's trap final, joined by with 2 and with one. If anyone can beat the U.S. women, this could be the biggest surprise of the competition.
  14. And Climpton Dempster will not likely lose the quota. He's built a very solid lead.
  15. And Linda Kiejko wins the quota Congratulations
  16. Meanwhile, regarding Lima 2019 qualifiers, only 10 athletes are eligible to gain a quota place in women's skeet, so 4 places will go unused.
  17. qualifies 3 shooters, gets 2 and , & one each in men's air rifle.
  18. I still remember that upset
  19. VENEZUELA Ricardo Montaner - Tan Enamorados
  20. Yes some idiot messed the entry and put Malabo among the bidders.
  21. Not so sure about Mexico. Our strongest shooter, Zavala, has been having a nightmarish season, so I just pray tomorrow she wins her event, having the support of her home crowd.
  22. Despite concerns hey might avoid its stop over at their host city, Mexican delegation will arrive later today at Phoenix, where Cafe Tacvba will perform tomorrow night at Comerica Theatre. After that, they will arrive on Wednesday night to Orlando for the final. Rumor has it some secret donor gave enough money to pay for additional security in exchange for Mexico's whole 2019 production of wines, beers & spirits.
  23. But now, only a disaster would make lose the quota.
