    Quota places in 25m AP (Women) Rui Liu & Manu Bhaker our 11th Shooting quota

    Manu Bhaker finishes 5th in 25m AP (Women) at the ongoing Asian shooting championships & qualifies for Paris Olympics by getting 1 of the 2 available quotas. 26th Quota place for & Athletes contingent size now up to 41 ( 43 with 2 hockey reserves)

    Skeet (M) Anant Jeet Singh Naruka finished 4th & just missed out on a Quota & a medal at the Asian championships. Air Pistol (Mixed Team) Sarabjot Singh & Surbhi Rao won 🥈medal

    Our 8th quota place is shooting Hopefully we can get a few more quota places from this Asian championships. We qualified 15 shooters for Tokyo , we should be qualifying a similar number this time too, perhaps more

    I don’t think that will be fair & anyway once you go down that route, it will be just not Palestine or Israel . You would need to consider Azerbaijan/ Armenia . Lebanon, Kosovo/ Serbia. Pakistan/India/ China/ USA IOC need not get into this political mess rather they should make it clear Olympics is not a place to carry out political protests. It us not IOC’s job to take sides or call out who is right or wrong. If indeed a world War breaks out , sports & olympics will be irrelevant!
