  1. Anyone know where to find to the entry lists? Also wondering where I can watch the event.
  2. 22-time Grand Slam Champion, and one of the greatest tennis players of all time, Rafa Nadal announced his retirement, with 2024 being his final season on tour He also pulled out of Roland Garros earlier this week for the first time in his career (His first appearance was 2005) with a lingering hip injury that was suffered at the 2023 Australian Open. “You can´t keep demanding more and more from your body, because there comes a moment when your body raises a white flag," said Nadal, as his session with the media was carried live in Spain by the state broadcaster's 24-hour sports network. "Even though your head wants to keep going, your body says this is as far it goes." He hasn’t ruled out a possible return to tour “You never know how things will turn out”, but his intention is “that next year will be my last year”. Really hoping he can win men’s singles gold at the 2024 Olympics, ending his illustrious career off on a high note, and with the Olympic tennis venue being Roland Garros, he’d most likely be a contender (If not favourite) for gold (Even when injured, I wouldn’t count him out. That’s how good he is). Maybe we’ll see him play mixed doubles with Carlos as well?
  3. New Canadian Record for Bianca Borgella! 12.12s T13 100m. Should be one to watch on the road to the 2024 Paralympics.

  10. qualify for the 2024 Paralympics in women’s sitting volleyball by virtue of winning a best-of-five series against Canada at the 2023 Pan Am Zonals (The two-time reigning Paralympic Champions ended up sweeping Canada to secure their spot in Paris. Canada won the final two matches, with the series ending 3-2) (Those two victories for Canada were slightly less fulfilling, as US chose not to play their two best players in Monique Matthews and Heather Erickson) qualify for the 2024 Paralympics by virtue of winning the gold medal match against the US at the 2023 Pan Am Zonals, brilliant tournament for them only managing to drop a single set throughout the whole tournament (The set loss was against US in pool play).

  16. This isn’t confirmed or anything, just a speculation, but I’m pretty sure Pavan/Bukovec have split. First clue I got, was when Sophie and Sarah withdrew from all upcoming Elite16’s they were registered in. But now I think it’s pretty much confirmed, with Sophie winning the Canadian Beach Volleyball Trials with Shanice Marcelle, therefore booking themselves a ticket to the NORCECA World Championship Trials in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Sarah, on the other hand, is next scheduled to compete at the upcoming Juumala Challenge with Molly McBain.
