  13. Absolute disaster for Canada Both Sanoa and Erin lost in R2, and are off to repechage already. (To be completely fair though, Sanoa's heat was quite possibly one of the hardest round two heats, but still would've been nice to see her advance). Mathea advanced through to R3, but she had an easy heat (Maeda, Cope, Pioli) so I'm not entirely convinced. For our men, Cody Young placed second in his R2 heat, behind Spain's Aranburu, and advanced. Wheeler and Levi didn't fare so well, and are off to repechage (Thought they were easier heats, but they still failed to advance unfortunately)
  14. Juvaughn Harrison 2.32m to take the win in the men's high jump
  15. Faith Kipyegon 3:49.11 WR in the women's 1500m
  16. Two-time Olympian (With her best finish being 4th at Rio 2016), and two-time World Championships bronze medalist (2016 Nove Mesto/2018 Lenzerheide) Emily Batty has officially announced her retirement https://www.instagram.com/p/Cs8-L_mMihg/?hl=en
  17. Some surprises today on the men's side as Ramzi Boukhiam and Joao Chianca both place third in their heats, and are already off to the repechage rounds
  18. After two great wins against Mongolia (21-9), and Hungary (21-11), and a 21-8 United States victory over Czech Republic (Who looked like they were going to cruise to the QFs after starting 3-0) made three teams (United States, Canada, and Czech Republic) go into a three-way tie at 3-1, with Canada advancing to the quarterfinals through total points scored.
  19. Penny Oleksiak pulls out from the 2023 World Championships team. Looks like we won't be qualifying any relays until Doha.
  20. Canada have secured two new quotas in men's decathlon, one new quota in men's marathon, one new quota in men's road cycling, and one new quota in women's road cycling
  21. Diving team for the 2023 World Championships has been announced https://www.cbc.ca/sports/olympics/summer/aquatics/diving/olympics-diving-canada-world-championship-team-1.6860917 Notably, no Toth or Erlam.
  22. Currently have subscriptions for King Of The Court, Volleyball TV, and Eurosport. That's pretty much it.
  23. My Schedule: FIVB Ostrava Elite16 Roland Garros Taekwondo World Championships FIBA 3x3 Basketball World Cup ISL Surf Games Women's Volleyball Nations League BWF Thailand Open Para Ice Hockey World Championships Brazilian Swimming Championships Bishkek Ranking Series Wrestling UCI BMX Racing World Cup Equestrian Dressage Group C Olympic Qualifier Modern Pentathlon World Cup Final WA Diamond League Florence WA Continental Tour Hengelo NBA Finals NHL Stanley Cup Final African Mountain Biking Championships (Need to find a link first though. If anyone can help me with that, it would be much appreciated.) Mel Zajac Swim Meet (Going to watch this event live, and with it featuring MacNeil/Liendo, surely we'll see some fast times being posted. I'll try to share some pictures with my fellow Totallympians after I go) More will be added soon probably, and there are a couple of swim/athletic meets that I probably haven't come across yet, but will try and make time to watch
