Canada’s heat of the mixed 4x400m relay just ended. 5th. Will Floyd definitely won’t be getting another run tomorrow lol.

For Canada, great legs for Lauren Gale and Callum Robinson in particular. Hopefully Gilbert doesn’t switch them out on day 2.

Men’s 4x100m relay squad will be the same exact four as expected. Aaron Brown, Jerome Blake, Brendon Rodney, and Andre DeGrasse.

Even if we were in heat 1 of the mixed 4x400m relay and heat 4 of the women’s 4x400m relay I don’t think any athletes would double up.

1:46.93 for Abdullahi Hassan in the men’s 800m at the Wisconsin Alumni Classic!

Erin Brooks with a perfect 10 wave at the Gold Coast stop of the WSL Challenger Tour (she also ended up winning the event afterwards) So good that it probably would have also been a 10 in the men’s event. Watching this brings back unhappy memories of the ISA Surf Games though, I’m still really disappointed with the lack of quotas that we won.

Had a chance to take on Brazil (no offence) but instead we get Germany lol. -
New WL for Tara Davis-Woodhall in women’s long jump, with 7.16m at the Arkansas Twilight! Third result over 7.05m this year, and is looking like the clear favourite for Olympic gold in Paris.
