There will be plenty to eat, not only tacos... but if you're so eager then you can have some of these:

They are called "Tacos al vapor" or "Tacos de canasta". It's the most popular kind of tacos for breakfast or lunch, although sometimes they're served for dinner, especially around Christmas.
These tacos are cooked in a steamer and have different "stuffings": beans, mashed potatoes, shredded beef & pork belly the most common ones. Then they are topped with cabbage, tomate sauce, pickled carrots & peppers, and sometimes guacamole.

MEGA UPSET ! in todays forst match defeated   5-3, putting Sweden in HUGE problems now, remember 2 last teams of this group will be relegated and since Sweden lost also to Germany after the penalty shoot-outs, we can technically say that if they´ll not beat Japan, Sweden will be relegated to Division I making potentally the first Sweden Ice Hockey NT ever to be relegated from a Top Division

Therese Johaug has signed a 5-year sponsorship deal with Blivakker, one of Norway’s biggest make-up shops.

Blivakker, who is part of Brandsdal Group AS, writes in a press release:
“We are proud that one of Norway’s biggest sports star wants to join Brandsdal Group. We see Therese Johaug as a good model to promote our products for Blivakker. We will soon launch a new product line of lipsticks at Blivakker and we hope that Johaug’s name will add an extra commercial awareness to our new product line – says CMO of Brandsdal Group AS, Nina Gjorum.”

Got a solo picture from the run in the turn before starting the climb up the roof. Was a bit afraid of that turn, but it was surprisingly easy.

looking at those rankings, in the men's Kata the 4 currently in the qualifying position look almost safe...the first not yet qualified man is the German Smorguner, but he has to make up around 500 points over Busato and 600 over Diaz, which is highly unlikely...

in the men's -67kg Kumite, we have Dacosta and Crescenzo miles and miles ahead of the rest, and also Figueira in the -67kg "original" still has some margin over his closest rival...but the fight for the second spot in the -60kg "original" is very close, with many players within a few points...

in the men's -75kg, the situation is quite locked in, with only Horuna having a small chance to catch the 4th useful place (but he has a lot of points -around 500- to make up over Scott)...

in the men's +75kg, Horne and Ganjzadeh from the "original" +84kg class are almost safe, they have such a wide margin over their rivals that probably they don't even need to show up at all the remaining events to qualify...meanwhile the -84kg part of the Olympic Heavyweights is a lot more interesting, even if the fight is basically down to 3 players ( Kvesic, Isakau and Chobotar) for 1 place ( Aktas is also almost safe in his top spot)...

the women's Kata has 3 names ( Sanchez Jaime, Bottaro and Lau) basically sure to be in Tokyo, with the 4th spot still up for grabs and with many pretenders (at least 4 still fully in contention)...

in the women's -55kg class, we have the -50kg "original" part of the ranking already decided, with Arapoglu and Plank having a really wide margin over the closest rival ( Bouderbane, who has more than 700 points to make up, almost impossible)...meanwhile the -55kg "original" part is still a mess, with 5 girls still in contention with legitimate ambition...
and this class is also our main regret, with Sara Cardin out because of an injury to her knee since a few months and now basically with only the highly risky world tournament left to keep her Olympic dream alive...

in the women's -61kg, we have Lofty and Yin well ahead of the other girls, Coban with a slimmer margin over the "dangerous zone" and then Prekovic and Philippe fighting for the last spot, but with at least 3 more girls ( Sadini, Grande and Jumaa) not to be completely left out of contention...

in the women's heavyweights, Chatziliadou is pretty much safe in top spot, with the +68kg "original" part of the ranking featuring a great fight for the second spot ( Keinanen, Aboualyazed, Florentin and Palacio Gonzalez are all still within a few points) and the -68kg even more messy (only Zaretska is quite a few points above the rest of the girls, but still not so far ahead to be considered safe)...

WKF updated the Olympic ranking. we have lots of changes because of the continental championships. someone corrects me if I'm wrong but it seems right now only except Oceania we have continental Championships points included in the ranking for other continents ?! while continental champs for Africa and Asia are scheduled for July which means 2018 results are irreverent for these continents ! so why WKF are counting them ?! we didn't send most of our A team members to the Asian Champs last year (saving them for the Asian Games) so I assume they can collect more points this year.

but at least having all continental champs done, the ranking is more balanced,  still long way to go but not bad to have a summary of top 4 in each weight right now

    1. I regularly train on my indoor bike, which started out to lose weight, but now that that's done, it's mostly to improve my own records and stuff like that. Which are impossible to compare with anything other than my own bike, so it's purely a fight against myself (and the occassional time my girlfriend uses it to keep training when she's here, but I'm significantly faster).

    2. Last summer, as in many years, I started running: walking/running/walking/running to slowly improve the amount of running time and decrease the walking time. For the first time ever I did not give up, managed to finally run 5km without walking in between and am now working towards a half marathon this summer. I've ran 5km in 24:25, 10km in 53:15 and 15km in 1:27.08, my longest run ever is now (since this month) 16km. Half marathon is getting closer and closer.

    3. Just for shits and giggles I asked my girlfriend to train me towards being able to do 30 consecutive push-ups, which is quite a lot harder than I thought. I'm at 20 though, 30 should be in reach soon.

I'll start with my own race yesterday (thought it would be better to have it here than the Athletics discussion thread):

The closest to a picture of my run is this (at least for now). It's me in red in the back of the group just before starting up the roof.
Considering that my 3k record is 13,36, 10,51 on 2k doesn't sound impressive, but I feel 90 % satisfied. it would be safe to say that about 30 seconds was lost on the roof where I lacked a bit of mental strength to get me all the way up running. Walked for a short bit but was cheered on to get running again by the Scotts at the top. Other than the roof, I was rather surprise by how easy it was. The water pit was no problem at all and the mud was pretty fine as well. The only mistake other than the roof would be going a bit too fast on one of the declines, which may have wasted a bit too much energy that I could have used on the roof. Maybe I also wasted a bit of energy and time showing off, even "fighting" the vikings in the bend.
Overall I'm decently satisfied but would love to try the route again in a year with a sub-10 time as the target.
In general a very fine event with some great support and a route that was even tougher than expected, which was pretty clear when you saw the elite runners. Sadly I couldn't enjoy the elite races as much as I would have liked, as I was pretty focused on my own run.

Next up for me is a run in late august, where I'm aiming for a 12k. It's gonna be tough considering that I've never done more than 5½, but I believe in it.
