HELLO, from 2024. How’s the future Totallympics? I still have a few more minutes in 2024, so I’ll post my annual “final post of the year.” It won’t be too long this year, but I couldn’t let the tradition die
For me, this year is best described as a “roller coaster.” I entered the year injured, unemployed and anxious, but left healthy (at least relatively), employed and partying with family and friends.
I’m thankful for how it went because I know there are those much less fortunate than me.
There are too many highlights, with too little time, for me to cover my favorite moments from the year, but amongst the coolest things in life was working alongside a few other Totallympics members for the second time in my life. It was an extraordinary summer full of sports, emotional highs and fraternity.
You guys have always made me fell welcomed, even at my most annoying points in life, and I remain thankful to have found this community. I wish everyone good health, stability and positive professional developments in 2025. Here’s to another year!!!

Not 300 points....233 points
https://www.fis-ski.com/DB/general/results.html?sectorcode=CC&raceid=47716
Excellent start of the season! Live timing wasn't ideal, some transponders issues here and there, so while she should have crossed the line first (started 2nd), I didn't see her in the finish list even after 8-9 women finished...luckily then she called and when I asked if she finished, she said she did, so no problems and it was indeed just some transponder issue
Tomorrow it's the 10k classic, first time she does 10k races back-to-back, let's see how that goes Less pressure though, since that one won't count for the Brazilian Olympic ranking, only classic sprint and freestyle distance races count for that.
Good start to the season for @brunamoura, 375 FIS points in a mildly strong sprint field in Italy yesterday. Started well in the quarters, but fell because of someone in front of her hitting something that bounced back on the course. That's alright though, qualifying is what matters in the sprint and that went well for a first snow race in almost 2 years

10k today, starting a little after 10am. Getting under 300 points or so would be a nice way to start the road.
to be honest everything was suspicious about this guy, his sudden improvement since 2021, his body, his sudden retirement in 2023 . its great to see him finally getting caught.
they will reallocate the medals later after the end of the process but his Olympic bronze will go to Ivan Huklek, I think that will be the first ever wrestling medal for Croatia
his 2021 World title will go Maskevich and the 2022 gold goes to Bisultanov
Bisultanov will benefit more than anybody else, he also gets a bronze from 2021 and Kessidis will get a bronze from 2022.
I hope me and the wife can attend some events. My wife's uncle and his family live near Verona, so a family visit could be an opportunity to witness some events in Milano live. My wife likes figure skating, so that is on the wish list of events to attend. Personally I would love to attend one of the ice hochey games, but it would also be fun to watch either short track or speed skating live.
