@hckosice Mass testing is a good idea and might decrease the cases later on. Yet that might not be the end of pandemic by any means. Rapid Antigen testing haven't got the accuracy. So few will not test and few will give false negative enough to increase the cases by early next year again in the 3rd wave.

One of the successful states in India in controlling the pandemic is Tamil Nadu. All thanks to banning the antibody test and yet having lowest positivity rate of 4% with only RTPCR test. Antibody testing is highly inaccurate and not the way forward.

There is a lot of room for improvement in weightlifting and boxing but excluding it will be bad on the part of athlethes. Gymnastics has seen cases of sexual abuse regularly which is as big a issue as doping never saw any federation getting banned for not ensuring proper steps were taken. As far as free quotas is considered there is a lot of them which can be cut in many events like men's football and rowing for example .

Decided to relieve the 2016 Rio Paralympics. It might take a month since I'm not hurrying at all. To maintain a multi sport feeling I'm watching each sport 30-45 mins at a stretch and changing it in form of a cycle . Ex: Sport 1, 2,3 for 30-45mins for 3-6 hours daily. Team sports are capped at 2-3 matches per day in preliminary except football 7 a side (1 per day when it's on schedule). Swimming includes finals only while few sports have been altered to only allow important matches (knockouts) only. Most sports replay available in youtube. But is it same for all countries or is it blocked anywhere @Olympian1010

The numbers are decreasing further day by day in terms of active cases and new cases daily as compared to September 18. AP went from 1.04 to just 55k active cases while kerala is one of the worst position states now witg peak expected in December or January. Even my state is now seeing cases break record every day after testing went up from 50-60k to 90k+ every day in last few days. Delhi went through the 2nd peak too, with 3rd peak coming in December. 30k - 9.9k - 32k - 24k... That order of active cases in delhi since june. Schools and colleges are reopening for students soon so it can increase further across country Lakshwadeep has still 0 cases of coronavirus. Mizoram still has 0 deaths of covid 19 after 1500+ cases

@up and down You must be happy to know just like anyone else that the peak has passed on September 18th at 10.17 lakh cases. Despite 8-12 lakh tests consistently cases have decreased. Yesterday 75k cases were recorded despite more tests than September 18.Current active cases are 9.68lakhs . Similiraly states with 3.02 and 1.04 lakhs active cases are now at 2.72 lk and 71k currently ( the 2 worst affected states Maharashtra and AP )
