I'm quite happy with the results today. I wanted 2 quotas since our other 3 wrestlers aren't good but won the 1 dat trials and those who win the quota make it to the Olympics as per our federation.

UWW should literally remove the tripartite column. The chances of this happening every Olympics is extremely less like 1/300.

Oh well I thought the Equadorian got the quota in 53kg at Pan Ams too. So if she had then it was tripartite?

Then in 68kg how was it tripartite if the Swedish is banned

That one will go to tripartite invitation since reallocation had less than 8 athletes.

I did watch a lot of sailing yesterday and today. Some Olympic replay and then Hempel WC where Netra Kumanan won the last race. I still believe the federation can improve so that we don't lose sailors after 1 or 2 good performances . Could have won 49erfx too had Aishwarya and Shwetha were given more hope by the federation. Nonetheless 3 boats is great

Here in India we had 115k cases yesterday, could be 200-250k cases daily ( everyday 7-10% growth) yet we are hosting Asian Boxing Championship and Indian Open Super 500 in May

The interesting thing is the only Oceania athlete in the poster is Rckaela Maree Aquino of Guam, the only Oceania athlete to qualify. So did the UWW knew the results? Or did they decide the draw beforehand? That would be a mystery. Taking nothing away from the Guam athlete but it's kinda funny how UWW knew whom to put ( They could have added Lahnee Aquino too who has more experience - Youth Olympic Games) than Rckaela

The thread would consists of all the Olympic Hopefuls and qualifiers in lead up to the Olympics. After which the thread would give updates on sporting in the nations and also about culture and traditions of the nations. I also encourage users to choose at least 1 South Pacific nation of choice and update it at least once weekly or monthly since we have no one from those nations. Even non Olympic countries like Tokelau, Wallis and Futuna will be interesting as not only it'll give an idea of sports there but also educate us about their culture.

How about a combined national thread for all South Pacific nations. Except Australia and New Zealand all the remaining nations will come under this thread.
