  1. Except for Eckhoff, Tandrevold Dzhima and Mironova.. Mironova missed 6 in sprint but if she gets it right then top 10 at least.. Not like Eckhoff could medal here. That sounds crazy 4 medals in 4 eventsShould miss 2-4.

  3. Just completed watching the races Poland and Latvia jointly won the European Championship with 2 golds each. Expected Poland to win 1-2 golds from Starega but after she said she wasnt competing in the rest I thought that was it. But Zuk was great in the pursuit. Also unexpected was Latvia jointly leading the table. No host advantage for them so basically Latvia have won the Open European Biathlon Championships for the first time ever !
  4. It's not as simple as that. Not all facilities are permanent or will be maintained well for 12 years. IOC gives japan opportunity or not doesn't matter japan will not have the funds to host one. As simple as that.
  5. Calm down.. Your are going way tooo far . First let tokyo happen in 2020 then let's see who wins 2032 bid.
  6. Dudchenko was soo close. Could be 2 medals in 2 days for Ukraine @Illya Russian victory finally. Good 2 days with no norway and sweden in top position great for biathlon should continue a Little longer..
  7. Did notice it too. Last shot in all events are hard. Individual and Sprint especially . Relays at least there are extra 3 targets if not shot within 5. Pursuit and mass start are head on races so there will be different things in head like has someone completed their shoot or before shooting u see opponents target so the 1st and 2nd shot is more harder.
  8. It's normalcy here so you don't want to miss the games for a stupid reason.
  9. For the first time ever Turkey will have a quarter finalist in a Super 1000 tournament. Yiligit faces Marin today.
  10. From all Indians out in R16 last week to 4 quarterfinalists this week. Mixed, Men's Doubles and 1 each in both the singles. Hoping for at least one of them in the finals.
  11. It's expected I think the govt will wait till march end.. With vaccinations and all they will be more confident. A spectator less Olympics is fine with me.
  12. Hope tokyo never gets 2032 games... Like it's shit.. Especially frustrating when covid has subsided completely and there is no pandemic here in India.
  13. So basically no multi sport event in near future. With tokyo cancelled Beijing is all set to be postponed to 2023
  14. Exactly no official word yet but 95% it will be in May 2022
  15. In most likelihood unless Kazakshthan is in for something of a suprise in 4 months time
  16. Exactly! Vaccinations begins tomorrow in India and we aim to vaccinate 300 million people by July so even with lesser workforce japan just needs to vaccinate 123 million and if they vaccinate even 25 million in worst possible scenario - including health care and entire of Tokyo Population I bet everyone in Tokyo will vote for games to be held
  17. Russian clean sweep! Valeria with 2 misses but almost winning the sprint. She could make it to the main team of WC in future.
  18. Thailand Open to start this week. Finally some sporting action for Indian Non cricketing fans
  19. Depends on Tokyo 2020. If that doesn't happen Beijing will surely be postponed especially when even test events have been cancelled this year in Beijing. Scientists have told the vaccine may not be effective to the African strain so it depends.Either 2 Olympics or 0 Olympics.
  20. From Jan 16 it starts Oxford Vaccine Covishield and Indian Vaccine Covaxin which is still in the trials but said to cost around 1.5$ in India.Only health care ,front line workers and ministers will get the vaccine produced in India. The vaccines will be there for Indians only for about 15 days after which it will be distributed to the neigbouring South Asian nations , South Africa, Kazakshthan etc who have made the deal/got assurance and then to the rest of the world.
  21. Interesting start list for tomorrow. France,Norway,Sweden,Russia and Italy kept their best for single mixed relay while Austria, Ukraine, Belarus and some others kept their best for Mixed Relay. If I am not wrong single mixed relay was neglected last year by top teams meaning countries like Estonia had a WC medal in the event .
  22. No these tournaments are more like practice tournaments before the Olympic ranking points tournaments start from Switzerland and end in India in May.
  23. Pandemic has ended in India. It's just a small flu now. 1 billion has been infected according to most trusted models already. So nothing much to worry.
