I heard some of you were worried about the lack of Polish fans at the European Games. But do not worry, I found them! I had a great time at the Volleyball Nations League in Rotterdam today. The Polish fans sold out the stadium at - and were 10x more present than the Dutch fans at - . And some really great games as well! Sadlu the Dutch lost in the end.

I finally decided to attend Krakow too. And much better than Katowice. They inform about European Games much more, Padel in main square and atmosphere during women rugby much better. Its pitty that i had not more time, women rugby and comments from fans were big fun :-D

Неколико утисака на тему последњих догађаја Кошаркашице испуниле очекивања. Али ми је највећи утисак меч против Белгије. Разумем да су Белгијанке боље, али ме је мало шокирало онакво гажење. Што се тиче одбојкаша, скор 4-4 је добар у односу на састав који је играо и општи квалитет наше репрезентације. Искрено, не видим како би ту други тренер донео неки напредак. Тим је такав какав је, бољи немамо и како је раније на теми примећено - нема назнака да ћемо имати у ближој будућности. ЕП је шанса за неки добар резултат, јер ће најбољима приоритет бити да се квалификују за ОИ (мада Француска не игра квалификације), као и пре 4 године кад смо узели злато ни криви ни дужни. Шта би био "добар резултат" за овај тим, тешко је проценити, али су стандарди свакако ниже него раније. Код одбојкашица верујем да ће до августа све доћи на своје место и да ћемо бити конкурентни за злато на ЕП и да ће се квалификовати на ОИ. Ако ме нешто разочарало овог месеца, то је наступ атлетичара на Европским играма. Па не можеш у троскоку да не узмеш ни тај један бод, разумем да та 2 бода не би променила ништа у пласману, али не може да те до те мере не занима тимски резултат. Мада ево и ту је дошла медаља, Милица Гардашевић је узела злато! Кајакаши су ми баш пријатно изненађење. Слабо сам пратио последњих година, али чини ми се да није било овако великих резултата. Све у свему, ово су већ сад боље ЕИ од претходних, иако су самбо и рвање скинути са програма, а 4 од 6 медаља је било у та два спорта. Општа оцена ових Игара зависиће највише од резултата боксера, односно од броја освојених квота, надам се да можемо барем до 2. Иначе, испратио сам мало и кадетска ЕП у рвању и џудоу. Џудисти узели 5 медаља (1-1-3) и једно пето место, четврти у пласману нација, што је сјајан резултат. Мање-више исти тим иде и на ЕЈОФ, па и тамо очекујем доста. И у рвању смо узели 2 бронзе. Ту ми је највећи утисак била Милица Секуловић, која је испала у првој рунди. Девојка је велики таленат, кадетска шампионка Србије и у рвању и у џудоу. На међународном нивоу мислим да се такмичи само у рвању. А гледајући њен стил борбе, имам утисак да је боље да ради џудо. Три пута је атрактивно бацала Белорускињу џудо техникама, 2/3 би у џудоу сигурно били ипон, али ако се такмичиш у рвању не може после сваког бацања противник да ти дође на леђа.

Peto mesto za košarkašice. Na 2p su u suštini bile od polufinala ali imam utisak da je ekipa nespremno ušla u taj meč sa Mađaricama. U svakom slučaju to polufinale bi bilo verovatno to i medalju ne bi uzeli svakako. Tako da između 4. i 5. mesta i nema neke razlike. Ovo je definitivno naš maksimum. Jasno je da u Evropi imamo Belgiju, Francusku i Španiju trenutno na vrhu i da su svi ostali iza. Ulazimo u OI kvalifikacije, uz dobar žreb eto nas opet na OI što bi bio veliki uspeh. Samo mislim da smo sreću sa žrebom ispucali na prošlim kvalifikacijama. Dok god je Marina tu biće i ženske košarke kod nas. Vidim da se baš iscimala za taj projekat ženske sportske akademije i nadam se da će u dugom roku to biti neka njena zaostavština. Mada, strepnja mi je veća od nade.

That one will hurt for a long time and completely took my mood from these games away... will probably need some time to swallow this anyway, congrats to Johnny Volko, his 3rd EG careers medal and completed set (Gold in Baku, Silver in Minsk and now Bronze)

@phelps you are not alone, is skipping ALL the individual events. If I am seeing it right, only has their top fencers in men's and women's sabre. Big yikes, they doing the opposite of what Áron Szilágyi done (he skipped the "real" ECh in favor of the individual European Games competition). All other top Hungarian fencers are competing both at the real ECh and at the European Games, with the exception of Anna Márton, who's injured.

Dascalu becomes European Champion and European Games gold medalist. I wouldn’t have seen Romania as a top contender in mountain biking just a few years ago, but they definitely have a top athlete now.

Italian coaches are a bunch of idiots! they have the best non-Chinese talent since Sautin in the team and they insist on those 2 losers. they're just killing the career of Matteo Santoro, not letting him dive in the individual events and not letting him increase his tech difficulties. what the hell do they think? do they really believe he would eventually learn the most difficult dives when he's already "old" and maybe carrying some injuries? shame on them! shame on them! shame on them!

What's the point of France and USA competing at the OQT, since they are already qualified? That's absurd to me, when other 2 teams could have participated...
