Olympian1010 7,477 Posted February 10, 2020 #916 Share Posted February 10, 2020 By the way, for those who enjoyed Parasite, and are happy it won; I highly recommend Snowpiercer. Snowpiercer was supposed to be his first big film, but it’s release was quite downplayed. It’s in English, and it’s damn good. It’s still one of my favorite films of all-time. It does also share the common theme of class warfare. “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. heywoodu 13,557 Posted February 10, 2020 #917 Share Posted February 10, 2020 (edited) Seems like more people than usual are happy with the outcomes: from regular movie viewers to people focussed on the diversity thing, everyone won Too bad Jojo Rabbit didn't win, it would probably have been a unique moment where I had actually seen the 'best picture' winner Edited February 10, 2020 by heywoodu If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Haven't seen the winner at the moment of the award since Argo
