and once again, when it really matters, the Italians flop and flop and flop...

what a bunch of losers!:wall:

Arguably the kind of comment that makes athletes lose motivation. Poliakova-style.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

since it's the 100th time Wierer is in this same situation, I think it's quite normal to be really, really angry...

and nobody should lose motivation because they repeatedly failed...they should do something to improve and start learning to cope with pressure that "big events" give...

it's not my fault if they are not mentally strong enough to win global medals...

Yeah, I don't think someone like Wierer or Makarainen needs random people to tell her them they could have won more than (in Wierer's case) a world championships silver (and two Olympic medals with relays by the way), pretty sure they know that. Makarainen is one of the greatest without a doubt, yet has zero Olympic medals...meaning she's a loser?

You win 26 World Cups, get 80+ podiums but have no Olympic medals, so people call you a loser

You get no podium in World Cups, accidentally stumble upon an Olympic medal when you happen to have one fantastic day at the right moment and people will call you a winner forever
