You can blame the NOCs for that, they are the ones who nominate their athletes (in ranked priority) which the commission takes into account when making their selection. If so, then they might pull the same trick Bosnia and Herzegovina did in tennis last time around (meaning, the original athlete receives reallocation causing their Tripartite place to be allocated to another athlete from the same nation). #banbestmen Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You can't qualify more than one if your not in the top 16, so no. If the IOC waited to reallocate the spots, would get and another tripartie would have gotten a spot, and I know for sure had asked for one.
