It looks like remaining relays will qualify according to Top Lists and not according to World Relays 2021 results.

Top 8 teams from 2020 World Relays plus 8 top teams in the world rankings at end of June that are not already qualified

As far as I know, top 8 relays in every relay from 2019 WCHs are already qualified, and next 8 will qualify through world ranking by combined times

for example :SVK is 5th under the line in Mixed 4x400 and it is the only reason we are going to participate, even if the chances are very low to qualify, we´ll at least try

The relays that will make the final in Poland will be qualified, the rule changed a lot of months ago, so in the remote scenario that the 8 finalist in Poland will be different from the 8 already qualified Jamaica will be out. But it's very unlikely, so there will be some spots that will remain open and will be assigned through ranking.

I think the reason they change the qualification process is for Countrys to take part. Cause if it didn't give Olympic Quotas, the event would probably had to be cancelled due to low attendance.

    • The women's weights are okay given the distribution of competitors. The men's weights are definitely underweight. Adding 2-3kg in each event would make it more balanced.
