Ski Jumping at the Nordic Skiing FIS World Championships 2021

Recommended Posts

Finally well deserved medal for Slovenia in women ski jumping.

Germans still don't know, how our flag look like, this is not first time.

These Worlds could really end now. ??

Yes, I meant Olympic events. I think before the start of the event, 2 medals seemed like their best case scenario and this was basically their only gold medal chance.

They're in with a chance in the mixed event too ;)

Kramer threw this away herself. The jump was clearly badly timed and if she doesn't mess up her landing like that she still at least gets silver. But that jury decision to shorten her run was a f*cking disgrace. Won't make it look any better that the decision was made by a Slovenian as the head of the jury.

And with this, Kramer is back to being fully Austrian :d

But wait until the big hill, we'll claim her gold medal then, Veluwe for life!

They only need one more Prevc girl to have a 100% Prevc mixed team (you know, if ignoring the World Cup leader and such :p) :d

True, I don’t see them beating Norway or Austria, but they could beat every other nation.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

The other Slovenian girls jumping on Klinec and their overall happiness brought the biggest smile on me so far in 2021

Line-ups for women's team event have been announced.

Unsurprisingly :GER Carina Vogt and :AUT Eva Pinkelnig are kicked out after a pathetic performance in today's competition.

Again a respectable field of 12 nations. Why on earth did IOC add mixed team event instead of this is beyond me.

Not sure if it was the NOC or the biathlon federation (I assume the latter) that put him in the Livigno training 'world' with a former Italian biathlete as coach, but they can definitely also be blamed:  almost everyone involved in that shitshow got the motivation just sucked out of them by the methods and shitty atmosphere until they either retired or changed country
