Now wait a sec, wait a sec ….up till now I’d always thought Camogie & hurling were the same sport, the one all sensible people call shinty. Now you’re saying they’re different?

Basically the same sport except for a couple of minor rules (smaller ball being one)

However the GAA (main governing body for those wondering) is for men’s Gaelic football and men’s hurling only. The “Ladies Gaelic Football Association” is the governing body for women’s Gaelic football and Camogie is run by the “Camogie Association”. There have been moves recently for the women’s sports to be brought into the main GAA organisation

In practice clubs and county boards don’t separate them but it’s a bit of a political issue now

happy with the top two

Happy with both, albeit Dan Wiffen was dreadfully unlucky with timing

Limerick...sigh. Even with a QF loss, the men's rugby team were huge. Extended period as #1, a win over the world champs, a grand slam finally at home. The women's football team amazing turnaround post world cup, and the European gold, World bronze of the men's sevens also
