Sweden has upgraded the security risk level to 4/5 after Al Qaida calls for attacks on Sweden (and Denmark). Great Britain is even are warning from travelling to Sweden.

All because our free speach laws can´t stop a few number of idiots from burning the Quaran.

Apparantly that is enough to attack swedish embassies, have huge protests in the middle-east, call for terrorist attacks despite Sweden is probably one of the most islam-friendly countries in Europe.

Burning books is so 15th century. Sweden is so liberal that it allows one of the most outdated & narrow-minded things ever and calls it 'freedom of speech'

Respected comrade Kim Jong-Un while knee deep in water in a flooded rice field said the flooding damage was not caused by natural disasters after big tropical storm this early august, but by human catastrophe due to the irresponsibility of lazy people, especially the prim minister :p

He instructed some officials to take notes while standing in the water  and already ordered to "severely punish" the culprits (prime minister) :p.

@Vektor @lapaj

This article is doing some really bad noises here lately. Obviously I do not understand anything, but is there really written something like wishes that Russia will invade Slovakia again like in 1968 so Hungary can ask Russia to take back some territory from Slovakia ?

Because if yes, that is at 1) really worrying and absolutely scandalous at same time, and at 2) was not the best in matter of timing of release, shortly before the elections, such statements can only affect bad any chances for hungarian minorities parties to enter the parliament

No, but you can make a conclusion like that with a little fantasy! It has been 55 years since the invasion of Czechoslovakia, and this is the timing. There is no anything about the election! But there is a remembrance from '68 and the article claims that the Hungarian soldiers were awaited by friendly Hungarians there (I read otherwise in many places!). As it is well known the Hungarians were part of the Soviet invasion.

And then the conclusion is that Hungarians have to hope!

But there is also a very serious claim! In the name of the Benes doctrines, the Slovaks still take forests and land from the Hungarians (In Slovakia) to this day! I do not believe it!

You are right it is a very bad article! For any reasons!

Ok, so these were only purposedly unnecessary exaggerations by some our "journalists" more precisely their "well played personal assumptions" as I expected. No need to pay any attention to it then. Glad to hear that.

Unfortunately, some especially nationalist-oriented parties here are only waiting for such moments so that they can immediately jump on the topic and play that card while exaggerating as much as they can and search to present problems which in reality are not at all.

Thanks

    • This is going to have an effect on very likely 0 athletes, possibly 1 or 2 we don't really know about yet. It's really mostly the cheapest possible way for them to make a sort of political statement, without having any significant backlash since it won't really affect anyone at the top level of international sports.   Edit: worded a bit wrong, I was thrown off by everywhere 'trans women' being mentioned as the target of this. Of course there is also the somewhat larger category of DSD and the likes, which will certainly affect a few athletes - unfortunately they are often thrown under the bus or mentioned as 'not really women anyway' or something like that, despite, you know, being.
    • Mary Rand has died aged 86. The first British woman to win a Gold in track and field at the 1964 Tokyo Games (where she also took home a further two medals in the Women’s 4x100m relay and Pentathlon).
    • Athing Mu competed in the USA trials in 2024 and 2025 post the 2023 rule changes. She also won Gold in 2022 and Bronze in 2023.    Jelimo the jury is out. She doesn’t look male like the other two do.
    • People focus on trans people because it's easier to pinpoint the affected athletes. Meanwhile it's the athletes with (suspected) DSDs that will have tougher time to convince the authorities and the public opinion that they belong to women's sports.
    • badminton queen Carolina Marin announced that she can't take part into the home Europeans in the upcoming weeks because of her injured knee and calls it a career 😭
    • yes, there are (or there was, at least) don't forget that the women's 800m had world and olympic champions like Semenya, Jelimo and Nyonsaba...basically, it was 10 years of DSD winners only the same Athing Mu was suspected to be DSD (never confirmed, but somehow she totally disappeared after Tokyo) then, there were the 2 girls from Namibia (1 won a medal over 200m in Tokyo) in Italy we have the living scandal Valentina Petrillo (a paralympian!!!), who's actually a real man not to mention the weightlifter from who took part into the Tokyo Games so, it's a real problem all around the globe, not just a US crusade against a few woke idiots
