nah do not take him too seriously, Zeman is a convicted drunkard and lunatic. he doesn't know (and do not remember) what he's talking about most of the time. Just ask the Czechs ;)

Yes, something like that in the article! :)

Of course, only paranoid right-wing conspiracy mongers believe that US elections can be rigged.

I see that AOC is populist and self-rightious as always, what a "great" look for the next generation of progressive politicians...

The only "deeply troubling" thing about this is that the most popular politician of the youth doesn't seem to care about that the Olympics is an international event and most of the world is nowhere near ready to legalize cannabis.

Yeah, the progressive left are more thorough-going cultural imperialists than King Leopold of Belgium.

The irony is that the IOC did not suspend her of course. And her suspension ends before the Games for what concerns international authorities. So it's the Americans themselves with their trials system which are preventing Richardson to compete at the Olympics. No one from the IOC is forcing them to chose their team based on only race's results.

So Cortez-Ocasio doesn't even realize it was USTA and not IOC that took Richardson out of the OG? What a complete idiot she is

    • What are the odds WTA/ITF has Kostyuk vs Potapova AO R1 just to see if the hand shake happens?
    • Malinin  opted for the 4-Axel in his Short Program, but faltered, landing him in 3rd thus far (and only 0.05 away from 4th!).  Surely he has the tools to rise back up in the Free Program.  (Also, perhaps this will serve to show him that he is in fact beatable.)
    • I think they incorrectly translated Ukrainian word "nahorody" - it is not a full synonym of "medal". Its cocrrect translation is "award". Meanwhile russian tennis playes switched for Potapova ->  Rakhimova ->
    • Ukrainian diver Lyskun switches allegiance to Russia, loses all medals | Olympics News | Al Jazeera   'loses all medals'   I would assume Al Jazeera could have been a bit clearer and mention this would presumably only be national medals. I mean, it's not like the Ukrainian federation, or any single federation for that matter, has the power to strip her of her world and European championships medals I hope (not for her sake, but because that would be a super weird precedent)
    • That's what I'd plan as well (except for MelFest), but I also know I am hypocritical enough to still want to watch the show and have a fun evening

For Planet VPN....well, let us know if you find out.   fil-taker-list-25-26-winterberg-1.pdf   Also, should have mentioned above that the Nations Cup races today are just over one leg, whereas there are two runs in each of the World Cup races.
    • Got our first competition of the season coming up in Solitude, Utah  this weekend.  Live on Discovery Plus etc, plus also YouTube and the Olympic Channel.  If you are new to the sport, the sprint races on Saturday will be the format you'll find easy to understand.     ISMF   ISMF Skimo - YouTube
    • Surely. Her first coach now works in russia (and grandma lives in russia according to Sereda). They were in contact and despite of full funding from  the girl decided to become the star of russian propaganda.  As I saw in X: "It took the Russians four years of war to find a relatively well-known sports personality to carry out such a propaganda operation."
