heywoodu 15,196 Posted November 14, 2024 #11301 Share Posted November 14, 2024 (edited) Considering the thing that matters for Trump is whether or not you are personally loyal to him, and not whatever you say about anything, who is left to still get some position? Tucker Carlson or something? I mean, if someone who is actively being investigated for underage sexual abuse and drug abuse (until he conveniently resigned so the report wouldn't be published just now) can be picked as AG, anything's possible Edited November 14, 2024 by heywoodu . It was more about the first tweet though. Who would've thought Trump of all people would employ a DEI 2.0 kind of strategy, where the D, E and I are replaced by only a single requirement (absolute loyalty to Trump) . (USA is not but Republican party is fully under Trump's control). Also, more tragicomic is the situation of Pro-Palestinian people who were angry with Biden-Harris and may have either switched sides or not voted. Trump is gonna have the most Pro-Israel Security Establishment in years. Edit: I absolutely disagree with the quoted tweet. We shouldn't expect the people who are fighting inflation to care about global events. Edited November 14, 2024 by Dolby
bestmen 2,827 Posted November 14, 2024 #11306 Share Posted November 14, 2024 Giorgia Meloni’s government in Italy will not be allowed to deport illegal aliens according to judges who just ruled against her decision. They cited how Egypt has a poor human rights record and therefore sending illegals from Egypt back to their home country would potentially violate their human rights so it cannot be done. Italy’s borders will remain open and the New Europeans will be allowed to flood both Italy and Europe forever more. konig

Is anyone arguing that this wasn't nepotism? xD The fact that RFK ended up being a great AG is really one of the great happy accidents of history, but he wasn't qualified for the role and it was so egregious Congress passed a law to prevent a nomination like that from happening again.
