Sugar cane, coffee, cotton were the main products that were based on slavery.  Don't think the Argentinian climate supports those.

Yesterday in Argentina we had legislative elections adn the goverment of Javier Milei defeat the peronist oposition 40% to 32% and obtein many seats in Congress in both chambers.

It's possible he won't live to the end of his term – it lasts up to 7 years. It's also possible that his political circle, not he, makes key decisions.

 

In Europe the longest rules it`s Lukashenko (Belarus)– since 1994, followed by Putin since 2000 and Erdogan since 2002.
