Rafa Maciel 1,594 Posted September 6, 2022 #647 Share Posted September 6, 2022 Badminton player Toby Penty has announced his retirement from the sport. Whilst he probably didn't make the impact that he would have liked and he was unlikely to be challenging for a medal, his departure is likely to mean that Team GB will not qualify a quota in the Men's Singles event. This would be the first time since the sport was introduced in Barcelona that GB wont have participant in the Men's Singles.
