It's about time.  Looks like NBC got their wishes to set up the times for all of the American teams.  Most days, the first match off at 9am local time (8pm on the East coast of the US) is one of the American teams.

I can see it in the Dutch matches as well: all of them at watchable times between 08:00 and 15:00 CEST, except the two matches against US and Canadian opposition at like 2AM CEST

In every Olympic cycle, millions are spent on getting marginal gains from high performance equipment. At Tokyo 2020,  much attention will be paid to the southern hemisphere of female beach volleyball players.  The Daily Mail has the details.

Incredible job by Jake Gibb and Tri Bourne getting the win today against the Italians after they just got thrown together a few days ago.  Well done!

Of course Agatha and Duda are still a good team, but I wouldn't be surprised if we don't win a medal in this sport this Olympics.

That's what you get for selecting the teams almost 2 years before de actual competition
