Two :SRI athletes broke South Asian records recently. Now these results are not that impressive, but both results would have qualified for Rio for ex.

Ushan Thiwanka - High jump - 2.30 m

Yupun Abeykoon - 100m - 10.15

many people will be extremely happy...

the Swiss Federal Court denied Alex Schwazer in his last appeal to find the way to have his shameful, unfair suspension lifted and so try and earn a spot for the Tokyo Olympics...

now he doesn't have any chance left to fly to Tokyo...major injustice has been done and kept until the end, despite the evidence of a criminal process that demonstrated how a shitty plot was put in place against him...

I wish all those who conspired against him all the worst for the rest of their life...:bones:

Meanwhile JuVaughn Harrison jumped 2.36m high and also 8.44m far (not at the same time) :yikes:

Damn... I already assumed he achieved two Olympic standards at once... :p

18 year old american Athing Mu wins the 400m at SEC Championships with a new US Junior record time of 49.84

Teenagers from Africa and now american will be making big debut this season and going into Tokyo if they all qualify will make the event very very good against Shaunae Miller-Uibo and the current world champion. An historic and potential world record race at the Olympics?

    • Totallympics Annual International Song Contest 2025      Thank you Slovenia! Argentina get their second 12 points of this year's contest to keep their hopes of a podium finish very much alive.   Big points also for Italy who become the 3rd nation to breach the 100-point barrier and they close the gap to France in 2nd.   That concludes the third session of this year's TISC Annual. Ireland maintain the lead as they have from the very start of the contest. Their lead now stands at 28 points which is sizeable though not insurmountable with 8 juries still to vote, including Ireland.   We will take a 1 hour 30 minute break now and will resume the fourth and final session at 19:00 GMT.      Juries Voted: 26/34    1  Ireland 2 136  18  Guatemala   53  2  France 4 108  19  Netherlands   51  3  Italy 11 102  20  Tunisia   50  4  Argentina 12 96  21  Denmark   49  5  Romania   85  22  Poland   48  6  Albania 9 85  23  Sweden 1 46  7  Spain   84  24  Lithuania 3 45  8  Germany 7 84  25  Malta 5 43  9  Canada   74  26  Turkey 10 43  10  Mexico   73  27  Greece   37  11  Serbia   66  28  Slovenia   36  12  Kazakhstan 8 65  29  China   34  13  Portugal   65  30  Bulgaria   32  14  Great Britain 6 63  31  Indonesia   30  15  United States   62  32  Slovakia   28  16  Ukraine   57  33  Brazil   28  17  Israel   55  34  India   15
