Alpine Skiing FIS World Cup 2020 - 2021

Incredible snowfall for the second run at Schladming,  could be looking at an upset.

”Crazy Hank” gets in a good early run.  Zubčić did the last few gates like a toddler walking downstairs.

Timing error!  :dunno:  Meillard surely faster though.  Yep, confirmed.

Albert Popov with amazing 2 runs and a solid top 10 finish  Two mistakes right before the end cost him even a better time.

well, that was something :d remind me of the epic Nagano 1998 Cross-Country M 30km race. That blizzard

Thumbs up and respect Foss-Solevaag keeping his calm and finished the race without glasses

Tomorrow W Downhill in Ga-Pa has been cancelled. The race will be moved to Val di Fassa where the DH will replace one of the 2 Super-G originally schedulled there and the replaced Super-G will be contested tomorrow in Ga-Pa

So this weekend the Kandahar program will have only 2 Super-G

I am entirely sure after this the super-G was scheduled for 11.45 today on the FIS website, so just for those who are waiting for that: it actually starts at 11.00, I just saw by coincidence :p

    • I still shocks, that a country of 4-5 million inhabitants? can be a powerhouse in almost every winter sport + handball, football (most recently with Haaland) and athletics: Ingebrigtsen, Warholm, etc. With such a small population, they can't be missing out on any major talent, surely? This must be the best training system in the world...
    • FIFA announced the stadium and time for each match   for  Iran, it will be 2 matches in LA (and not just 1) and 1 in Seattle and luckily we avoided playing in Canada. absolutely nothing against the country, but there are just too many douchebag Iranian groups in Vancouver trying to mix everything with their stupid politics. it's better to stay away from them.   that can happen in US too but less likely. playing in LA is more like playing at home, at least I hope so. 2022 Qatar was a disaster from our point of view, hopefully this one remains only about football.
