TBH I find this even more impressive that the game against New Zealand. Not because the result itself is that impressive, but rather because they came back just a week later and fought extremely well.

 

Argentina has a real shot of winning this tournament now.

I think the only pot 1/2 team Italy could possibly beat is Japan, but yes, it can't get harder than that. Same as 2019 (NZ/RSA).

 

 

All in all the pools ended up pretty balanced, unlike previous editions where there was always an obvious "group of death".

The main point here being the score of the guy who held the office so far : 3.2 %  which tell you everything you need to know about the quality of his presidency.
