A pretty predictable 1-2 for France.

 

Given their skiing form (+quality of equipment) and the fact they are miles ahead of everybody else in shooting, they are winning a gazillion medals in Antholz.

It's the first since 2002, when Nikulchina won bronze in the pursuit.

Today we are not at the level but the race was good in general for us.

Third medal for Bulgaria in biathlon after Dafovska's gold in the individual event at Nagano '98 and Nikulchina's bronze in the pursuit event at Salt Lake 2002.

What a shame for the misses, first time in a long time I saw this amazing speed for Baiba

 

 

Hopefully Saturday she has the same speed and can repeat the 9/10 she started with...
