In that case, the athlete with the 80th, 10th and 10th place finishes would be ranked higher because their best finish of 10th place is higher than the other athletes best finish of 20th place.

Thank you. And is it just in tie? And what about athletes which did not start in individual? Do they have some chance? For example sprint 10th, pursuit 10th, DNS in individual. On the other hand 20th, 30th, 40th. What Is better? :-)

Now we can just use places in the Individual but for the final distribution of MS spots they just count points - the same way as at the Worl Cup.

Hanna Öberg, usually top3 in skiing, now 2:30 behind in skiing, not counting the bad shooting. Elvira bad as well. And Ponsilouma/Samuelsson usually also among the fastest, now far behind. Swedes are usually terrible at high altitude but this is extreme.

But many other suffer as well. Lampic a minute behind too. Difficult to know what is shape, what is skis and wax and what is the altitude.

Same thing for Justine Braizaz-Bouchet, often the fastest in skiing, and only 20th yesterday. it cannot be wax, but in Olympics finishing 4th or last doesn’t make much difference. Probably she quickly understand that she can’t make it this time and keep her energy for the next events. It can be the same for the swedes.

(The problem for JBB is that if Océane Michelon win a medal then she won’t qualify for mass start, unless she also win a medal before)

Get the cross country waxers to help. Those are working well for :SWE woken.

And usually it has been the opposite, like they always have good skiis in biathlon but more unstabile for XC. However I don´t think the material is the problem here unfortunatly
