What happened with :SWE Hanna Oeberg? Barely beat Kulm & Horodna with the same number of misses

Arnekleiv slower on skis than a Lithuanian?

She was sick and missed the swedish premiere a few weeks ago. I suspect she has not yet recovered from that. At least the swedish commentators said she won an inofficial test race within the swedish team just days before she got sick. But that was some time ago now so maybe it is just bad shape anyway

I have the feeling that she's making the same mistake as last year, where she competed in the World Cup the whole time, instead of saying that she's not going to compete in the World Cup this year and would rather take a rest. I wouldn't be surprised if she runs the relay on Sunday...

Very good performance for us today. :yes Todorova in her return from motherhood makes 10th place in her 4th event. We also had a 20th in the men's sprint and it was not from old man Iliev. Finally Todev made a good result in the seniors. I was beginning to think he would only be a junior factor. Or i at least hope he can start making consistent placing in the points.

A rest could be what she need. She is already out of question for the cup anyway. And when she actually took a break the season 22/23 she ended up as Queen of the WCH.

And the swedish team still don't need her in a relay team right now

I bet Jacquelin was mighty angry after JTB tripped him on the last climb. He left the finish area in like five seconds :coffee:

He was furious indeed. Can't blame him. But then he calmed down, discussed the incident with Boe and also admitted in an official interview with the IBU that it was all his fault.

    • Add 1 strong pair from Russia and Cizeron, who will return with a new partner and this medal isn`t so certain. They will definitely have to refer to their life form from 2023, and so far, they have been recording worse results every year.

    • First, they lost the medal in the short dance, where their performance were also the worst in the season,   Second, since they had a good free dance, with which they won silver and bronze at the World Championships in previous years (with the result from 2023 it would be another silver today), why experiment and invent something new? You don't change what works well - better is the enemy of good,   The facts are that the Italian pair achieved a worse result at the World Championships than at the European Championships and generally had a weak season, and assuming the return of strong Russians, to win a medal they will need to score around 216-217 points, or maybe more.
