:yikes:

One of my heroes, suffering like this

I really, really wish her to recover for the Cortina.

I hope surgeons will do their best.

In cases like this even amputation isnt rare.

I hope Fede will cope with this like a champ she is. :fingers:

yeah, very nasty

however, surgery is already underway in Milan

the doctor (the same who always takes care of our skiers) didn't look too optimist and talked of a very bad situation :yikes:

And it's not over.

During the surgery, a severe fracture of the knee, specifically the ACL, emerged. In short, a disaster

Not sure what the hold up in the FIS posting it is, but Lee Wen-yi of :TPE has met the Olympic standard (118.95 in slalom). Also Nino Tsiklauri from :GEO easily earns them a quota, I believe it should have been met back in February from the four slalom results, but I am never sure about when the 20% extra for missing results is used.

According to some journalistic rumors in Albania (which have bounced back strongly in Italy), Lara Colturi could return to compete for Italy.

Isn't there a time lag on this, like for oh, shall we say, :CUB long jumpers who want to compete for :ITA?

For FIS-Ski, there isn't any rest time if both NOCs reach an agreement. The date limits is the 1st May

🤣🤣🤣 Apparently Ceccarelli only got a small fraction of the money she thought she was being paid.

Otherwise I guess it will be Qatar next year. 🤣🤣🤣

The commentary was talking about this during the worlds and they expected it to happen in time for next year.

unless there's an agreement between the 2 federations, if she still wants to change the Flag of her club (I refuse to talk of Nationality with such a mercenary :bones:), she has to take a full year break (no competitions at all...and will lose all of her FIS points)

if :ITA and :ALB somehow find an agreement, she can start for :ITA from June 1st and keeps all of her FIS points
